There was no build-up to it at all (unless something happened at the end of City of Fallen Angels that I forgot about). I really hope Alec and Magnus's relationship doesn't end tragically. I loved the part where it was revealed that Alec could take away Magnus's immortality; he better not do that... (hide spoiler)]

...so what’s the catch? There is no WAY that it is that simple :|

Chapter 6: (view spoiler)[I really loved drunken Isabelle pouring her heart out to Jordan over Simon. She really cares deeply for him and I hope that by the end of this novel both she and Simon become aware of how deep their feelings for one another run c: (hide spoiler)]

Around each wrist was a dark red groove, the marks of some sort of binding, rope or metal, that had cut into the skin over many years. In his eyes were leaping red flames.”

Azazel doesn’t have yellow eyes? And he’s wearing a suit? BOOOOOOO. I wanted his description to be along the lines of the Azazel from Supernatural! XD

At least he appears to be just as evil and manipulative as the Azazel from Supernatural. Taking their happy memories as payment to HEAR his plan, then demanding his freedom in order for him to ACT OUT his plan 😡

Honestly though, at the moment I mostly just really want to know who Magnus’ biological dad is XD

But still, I'm mad about Azazel. This book makes him sound like some suave CEO-type but my mind is going "HE SHOULD BE LIKE THIS"

I suppose it does get a bit better, but I've never been into the series, I just really dislike Clary and Jace.

I might not read TVD2 straight away, I need to know what happens in the next Private book XD Are you going to read TVD2 at any specific time?

I did as soon as they mentioned it was Azazel and started describing him ;D Because his character is AMAZING in Supernatural (even if he IS an evil bastard - but I mean, demon? 8'D) and just so well done.

It seems like with this one Cassandra Clare was just like "we want a Christian Grey type... but with demon-y eyes. Yes. That'll work.

Personally, I read it for Simon ;D HE is great.
I think when I first read the books (when I was 12 or so?) I liked Clary and Jace, but now? SIMON ALL THE WAY.

Yup sure are. Then City of Heavenly Fire. And then Dark Artifices. Right in time (kind of) for Queen of Air and Darkness or whatever #3 is called. Why do all YA books have names like that now, it's so hard to keep track.

FIIIINALLY I FINISHED THIS! I didn't like it at all! It dragged so much, there's no reason why it is as long as it is, I feel like nothing actually happened. I couldn't care less, I still hate Clary and Jace, and I can't wait to just finish these books to get rid of them :p

Yeah I'm going to sell them, either all together or separately. I think if I sell them all together, I'll do it for like $150, which will feel good. And it's way cheaper than you can buy them for. There's 11 books I've got, and I bought them for at least $20 each, so I could maybe even sell them for $175 XD

(view spoiler)[I think I totally skipped over the part where Clary and Jace go into the Portal the first time because one minute they were in New York and then they were in Europe, but I get it now.
I love the parts with Magnus and everyone else being in his apartment. It just seems fun (Even the part where they summon the demon and lose their memories).
Also, there are a lot of romance scenes and I don't see why they're necessary. (hide spoiler)]
