Medium thanks.
We've sure had our mix of easy to hard to easy challenges. I still keep thinking about how much I loved the Key Word one. Are more like that in the making? More challenging? There've been a few easy ones lately.

We usually do the read whatever you want challenge after the MMC, but there will be a more challenging one in October, then the series readalong challenge for november/december ☺

Series readalong challenge?"
They do every end of year (Nov/Dec), and you're awarded points based on the # of the book in the series. For instance:
Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone: 1 point
Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets: 2 points
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban: 3 points
and so on (maximum of 5 points).

Please, sign me up for a medium team :) - excited for the team names :)

The August challenge is usually more laid back because the MMC is huge for everyone, the players and the mods (especially when there is the non-reading challenge), so August is to just recover from July

I think you have your months mixed up Tati. ^-^

O.o I'd forgotten that. Sometimes I forget how long I've been in this group. :)

The 2014 MMC was the first challenged I joined despite not participating in it. :)
This'll be my first challenge so just doing it for fun :)
I'm in! Just for fun! I've never done a challenge before so I'm looking forward to it ;)

This will be a team reading challenge which will run from September 1st to September 30th, with results announced on October 1st. The idea is to sit-back, relax, and read whatever you want ☺
Points:
*50 - 100 pages = 0.5 points
*101 - 199 pages = 1 point
*200 - 299 pages = 2 points
*300 - 399 pages = 3 points
and so on... (maximum of 6 points per book)
*Poetry/Graphic novels/illustrated books = 1/3 of above points, so a 300 page book is worth 1 point.
*Buddy reads DOUBLE your points score, so a 300 page book + buddy read = 6 points. (Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group.)
*Re-reads are okay as long as it has been at least 1 year since you last read the book.
Rules:
* This challenge will run from September 1st to September 30th, with results announced on October 1st.
*Books started before September can be used, but you must only claim the number of pages read in September.
*Buddy reads must still have a minimum of 4 comments to count.
*4 detailed updates can be used instead of a review.
* You can find our regular challenge rules here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
This challenge will be a team challenge. When signing up please let us know if you want to join a 'Serious' team (reading 12 books or more), a 'medium' team (reading 8-12 books) or a 'Just for fun' team (reading any number of books). You may also sign up as a solo participant.
