Stayed up way too late listening to Terri Blackstock's Distortion. Now I'm thinking I need to wait a few days before starting the last book or I'm gonna be a mess!

August is turning out to be a bad reading month for me. =( So far all I have finished is one audio book.
up next:
@Hannah S: Welcome to the group! You have a great list for this month. @Joy: We love James Herriot even though we have very limited experience with him. Did you knwo that there is also a Netflix series called
? If so, have you seen it yet?
I finished up my summer classes, so those ended with these books:
(not CF)
I've also finished
Currently reading
And listening:

This month wasn't too bad...Finished for school:
Also read:

These will carry me into September:
My August was a great month overall, just not really reading-wise :P I only read
and finished
. Currently reading
and
, which will carry me into September.
Great job, Anne! Some months are faster than others. Maybe your September will be a fantastic reading month.
My focus for August was continuing series I had already started. I managed to stick with that which was great. I finished four series and continued two others.

I had absolutely no reading plan for August (okay, let's be honest-- I never have a reading plan :P ) and I honestly didn't think I would get that much reading time in..... but I finished my 14th book last night!
Staci, I'm impressed! I typically get sidetracked with series because other really intriguing books come out that I just HAVE to read now. Lol. Great job!

Thank you! I normally get side tracked too. :-)

I finished almost all the books I had planned to read:
(not CF)I'm amazed at how many of you managed to finish lots of books! Well done, ladies! :)
Well I didn't read anything by last month's featured author, but I did read a lot of other books. :)
I did not get near as much as I wanted read but I did finish
and
. I'm 3/4 of the way through
which I'll finish this weekend. So absolutely no CF reads this month =o but I did get some bigger sci-fi and fantasy out of the TBR pile.
I did! Jurassic was as good as I remembered and I thought The Lost World was pretty close to being as good. It was fun seeing a couple things they actually used for Jurassic World.

My children love books but neither can read yet. Really helps me to read more and more each month.

Really? That's neat! Now I'll have to track down a copy of The Lost World. :) So glad you enjoyed them.

Anne, that is the conundrum, isn't it? Maybe you can reserve 30 minutes at night for reading or something. Best wishes for squeezing in some fun books!
Courtney, that's wonderful that you're fostering a love of reading in your children while they're so young. So proud of you!
