This is my favorite book of the Bridgertons to date! The story begins with a heart wrenching chapter that makes it impossible to put down, but fear not! There is plenty of humor and enjoyment ahead!
I'm not always the biggest fan of blended family stories because it's difficult to make them very realistic within 350-400 pages. However, I should have know this author would master the challenge! (See the rest at Becky's Goodread's Review )

4**** This was a great read. I thought that I had it figured out from the beginning BUT did not want to believe it to be so!! Main character irritated me to no end but overall I enjoyed the book.

✔︎ Beyond This Moment by Tamera Alexander |★★★★½| Aug 6
This was a huge improvement over the first book in the Timber Ridge Reflections trilogy. The pacing was better, the characters were far more interesting, and despite Molly's decision to keep the details of her past from the City Council and James, I still found myself pulling for the couple. I also liked that the small town of Timber Ridge received a teacher with a Ph.D in languages, who was innovative in her teaching methods, and used her spare time to tutor those children that the City Council refused to allow in the school due to prejudice.
There are many likable characters in this story and I hope that we will hear more from them in the final book, Within My Heart.

4**** I Loved this book!! Rarely have I not loved a book by Jenny Colgan. The characters are quirky, gruff, funny, lovable, not so lovable and everything else which is what makes her books so appealing to me I guess. I get to experience so many feels but ultimately the ending leaves me smiling!! That's a win for me!!
