While not a teen the Harper Connelly series (3 books, finished series) has this theme. Grave Sight

Merrilee (jrsygrl626) | 189 comments Meg Cabot has the mediator series. It was finished, but she's decided to release another book about the MC when she's a bit older. It's not due out till 2015 though.

Ingo (ilembcke) | 669 comments Just had to check it again, the Harper Connely series is 4 books (and, sadly finished), and what I really like about Charlaine Harris is that she writes about more or less normal people, being not rich, rather struggling to make ends meet and also with being special. Highly recommended, although the ending might not be for all (rather, hm, free-spirited).

Meg Cabot's Mediator-Series is on my TBR-List, read the 1-800-missing-Series and liked it very much (also a TV show), so I would second that, also.

And to throw another book-series in the mix, light reading, teen-romance-trouble-with-dead-teens:
The Dead Girls Detective Agency by Suzy Cox, 2 books so far. I reviewed both, and the second one was better due to two twists in the end, but had also a cliff-hanger and the main story was not finished - cannot wait for the third book, but am also a bit miffed, that there was no real end. The first book got 3 stars from me, the second 4.

This is one where the main character is dead and finds out about it. Personally, didn't quite like this book since it was very predictable.
But you could see about it.

Nova | 32 comments The Summoning The main character figures out that she can see ghosts/talk to them and is sent to a group home because of it. It's the first book in a pretty good YA supernatural series but to say more would probably be giving spoilers.

Also try Witches' Night OutIt's a YA mystery series about a coven of teen witches and I believe some of the characters have medium/clairvoyant abilities

Pearl Liao | 42 comments Hmmn... My So-Called Afterlife (Afterlife Series) by Tasmyn Murray sounds like it fits your criteria, but it might be a bit too chick lit for your taste.
