Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #11 (colonialism) - Starfall by Melissa Landers. Good continuation of this series. While it is helpful to have read the first book, this novel stands alone nicely as well. The characters have continued to develop. The world Landers has built is interesting, and the plot has nice complexity. This is not brainless YA sci fi - it's really good! 4 stars

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #8 (scientific achievement) - Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and Her Amazing Story of Healing by Christy Wilson Beam. A quick, heartfelt read. The writing was smart because it wrapped the overall story around the most heart-wrenching exciting part. The writing's not fabulous, but it conveys the ideas succinctly. Worth reading! 4 stars

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #20 (performing in show) - A Bridge Across the Ocean by Susan Meissner. I am conflicted about this book. I liked the writing style and the characters. But the novel was put together in an odd manner. And in the end, the concept didn't quite come through. Worth reading. 3.5 stars

21/10 - got them all!
