Daniel Kilgrave | 1 comments I just finished The War of the Worlds and The War in the Air. It was slow at times but I really liked it, and I did prefer Air over Worlds. But I'm very curious to read more from H.G. Wells in the future.

Also just finished - Tracking Game (Timber Creek K-9 Mystery #5) by Margaret Mizushima Tracking Game by Margaret Mizushima. This is a mystery with a K-9 investigative unit set in rural Colorado. That's one of my favorite books and I also read it this year. As much as I love you really have to stick with, but it's worth it. (Yes, it took me months too).

Katz Nancy from NJ (nancyk18) I finished my last book for 2019 which was The Song of the Jade Lily by Kirsty Manning. I was interested in this book since it took place in Shanghai and Australia which we were lucky enough to visit. Unfortunately there was too much romance for me and I rated this book with 3 stars.

Sarah B | 158 comments I just finished Saturn Rukh by Robert L. Forward which is a wonderful hard sci-fi novel about first contact with the Rukh (pronounced Rook) that live on Saturn. The mission goes horribly wrong and the humans must rely on the intelligent Rukh for survival.

PattyMacDotComma While nervously awaiting regular alerts about the Aussie bushfires, I've been reading the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Overstory by Richard Powers. A good readable mix of characters, history, and tree info, as well.
