Tori
If you are happy reading books as digital downloads I would recommend Net Gallery for access to free books in exchange for reviewing and giving feedback to publishers.

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments Morning guys 😇

Hope you are all ready to rock n roll today

We have been given a books read thread HERE

Link is also on the first page on the same post as the shelf links.

Please only post your FINISHED books in there, don't forget to only put your completed books on your tower shelf otherwise the spreadsbeet will pick them up.

message 114: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments just downloading it now lol, i may or may not have the new KA book too, i need to check how it works with TT though as it's only available in audio

message 115: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments I was wondering about that too!!

message 116: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments I wasn't sure about The Circle but it's starting off interestingly enough.

message 117: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments well i'm not going to be able to start anything now until i finish work at 5 so i'll probably just finish the one i'm reading and see if my suspicions are correct and then just start a new one

message 118: by K~Terror (new)

Emma (M) | 1777 comments K~Terror wrote: "I wasn't sure about The Circle but it's starting off interestingly enough."

I've got to admit that I'm finding the dialogue really cheesy and a bit over the top at times. I don't think I'm going to be a fan of his writing style tbh. It's good to get to read the book before I see the movie though.

message 120: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments i'm currently reading Never Let You Go by Chevy Stevens and trying to work out something, i think i have the answer but i need more clues lol

LOL! Agreed! I've been on such a mystery binge I was afraid I'd be bored with this one but so far not too bad. Maybe just a few eye rolls.. ;)

The first one I read is probably still my favorite of hers:
Still Missing by Chevy Stevens

message 129: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments I've had that on my tbr forever

message 130: by TheBookishFairy (new)

TheBookishFairy (Lauren) Hope everyone has had a good start to their reading for the challenge?! Sadly, I started reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson and had to DNF it. I just couldn't push myself to finish it. I've decided to try Vassa in the Night as I have had that on my TBR for ages.

message 131: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments I liked Will Grayson Laura, but I listened to it on audio and the narrator was fab

message 132: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments Whoop finished my last challenge book so on to TT books!!

message 134: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments Lol i'm listening silly!!!

*pets cover*

message 135: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Haha! So you can totally lick and listen!!

message 136: by Tori (new)

Tori Coulson My husband LOVES politics. I've found noise cancelling headphones are the only thing to drown out Question Time so I can concentrate

message 137: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments Ugh Question Time, the only thing that can send a statue to sleep lol

message 138: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Finished my first books
The Talented Mr. Ripley (Ripley, #1) by Patricia Highsmith The Circle by Dave Eggers Envy An Empty Coffin Novel by Gregg Olsen Promise Not to Tell by Jennifer McMahon

However, only 1 of them seems to have page numbers pulled into the s/s so far.

I have the kindle version with my audios and you'd think that would be common, right?

(The last one may be timing since it was the most recent.)

message 139: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Has anyone tried those itty-bitty truly wireless buds???

I keep eyeing them....

message 140: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments never heard of them K

Yes just use the default page for the books and the SS will pull them out, otherwise we can do a page override.

Also asked about the new KA book as it is in audio only, they matched length etc with other similar books and came to the decision that if and when it is released on epub etc that it will be in the region of 500-530 pages (which sounds about right for KA) so if you read that one then we can override it for 501 pages giving you 60 points 😄

message 141: by Tori (new)

Tori Coulson what's KA mean?

I am no where near finishing books but I have made a good don't in my two yesterday on a two hour car ride. We're camping at the moment. I love reading with a cup of tea and beautiful hills all around

Oh a cup of tea with a good book in the mountains sounds wonderful! KA is author Kristen Ashley

message 143: by V_Nerdbooks (new)

V_Nerdbooks | 5079 comments Sorry Tori I completely forgot to write Kristen Ashley lol, I was going to tag the actual book and forgot to do that too 😌

Ghost in the Stacks I would have never guess that either, so no worries.

Ghost in the Stacks Any weekend Plans?

message 146: by Emma (M) (new)

Emma (M) | 1777 comments ugh, packing up the house as we are moving this week. Can't wait for it all to be over so we can settle in to the new house.

Ghost in the Stacks Congrats on the new house Emma!

message 148: by Emma (M) (last edited May 06, 2017 03:37AM) (new)

Emma (M) | 1777 comments Thanks Abbie, but its just a rental while we wait for our house to be built next year. We'll be there for about 1.5 years, so long enough that we will have to settle into it :)

message 149: by TheBookishFairy (new)

TheBookishFairy (Lauren) Hope the moving goes well! I have my final uni assignment due next week and a teaching interview / observed lesson for a school I really want to teach at next week so, I'm going to have to put the books down and do some work 😔 however, after next week I will have plenty of free time to read!

message 150: by Emma (M) (new)

Emma (M) | 1777 comments Good luck with your interview! That's very exciting for you.
