And I agree, Foxy! Two totally different people and I kinda root for her, too.

It's always hard for me to understand that part about "wanting to leave but not being able to" - I mean, she goes with the kid to the gym, so obviously she could leave... But I can't imagine myself in taht situation, so I might not get it. (hide spoiler)]

Hmmm... Elisabeth. (view spoiler)[ I'm not sure. She's become this hardened person bc of a situation out of her control. She's lost her baby and she feels her husband wasn't there for her. So, she's put up this hardened front so no one can hurt her. (hide spoiler)]

Maybe Clare will leave her husband for her personal trainer. But I don't think the story line will have her end up with Roman. He's meant for Lissy. That's where his heart is (hide spoiler)]

I dont know why I this doesn't feel like an authentic story yet, but I havent read romance in so long so maybe thats why (hide spoiler)]

I don't want her to just give into his persistent wanting them to be together but I don't want her blaming him solely.

I'll read it. So if you want to know how this ends I can give you the cliff notes.
So, if this isn't working for you don't feel the need to invest in book 2.

I could safely give this one 4 stars but we'll see at the end.

It's not my favorite by this author but it's entertaining, so far. KC has me reading too many thrillers now that I start dissecting the plot as we go along. Even when I can usually figure stuff out.

This is probably far fetched but (view spoiler)[ I wonder if this character is going to be worked into her new series. I haven't read them. But they deal with bodyguards.

If she starts the character in this series readers will be -"oh, remember when Leo was all 'babe' !!! So, alpha male"
