I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars - only read if yoh finished the book :D (view spoiler)[ the ending caught me on surprise, which is the only reason for the third star but then again, it makes no sense that he was undercover as her personal trainer. Overall the story kept me reading and had me curious. I didn't like most characters though and the pacing felt off - I always struggle with that when reading novellas though. And I skipped the sex scenes completely - not sure when that happened the last time LOL they felt off. (hide spoiler)]

So, I will probably skip book 2, sorry >.< But I loved buddy reading with you guys :D We need to do this more often!

Yea, if the book is 2 or 3 stars then I'd skip book 2 too. No one has time for that. LOL

Hi ladies! I'm about halfway through book 2.

Clare got away from Walt with the help of Heath and Roman. She and Tessa are staying with Roman and Elisabeth's house with them.

They've gotten the test results back and Tessa is Elisabeth and Walt's child.

Right now, we don't know where Walt is.

I also haven't read a really good dark book in a while, though I remember they were always hard find.

I just settled on a Tiffany Reisz Marathon - I don't even know how often I've read these now, still not boring ;)

I have finally finished! I had such a busy stretch there, and it's still pretty crazy but I raced through the rest last night. The twists were pretty interesting, and the book ended w a good action scene, but I still couldn't get into the book overall. I read your spoiler for book 2, and that pretty much sucks but makes for more story!
