”She has nothing to live for in the present, but finds there's something worth dying for in the past….”

Tiffany Reisz is one of my favorite authors and this story though eventually didn’t blow my socks off was well written nonetheless. I loved the idea of time travel and for this heroine who has buried her solemate four years prior and has been through the ringer being married to his best friend, Hagen. Filing for divorce and taking a photographer gig in Beaufort, South Carolina has

Tiffany Reisz has provided me with some of my most memorable reading experiences. Given me characters I will never forget. I hold her writing in high regard, I always will, and no doubt many will love this story of time travel, love and mystery but alas for me and my reading tastes, 'The Night Mark,' sorely missed the mark. I did not feel the romance, the writing felt overly detailed and maybe mysterious to the point there were too many questions that I felt could never really be answered becaus ...more

Pat had asked her what she thought she’d find at the lighthouse. She hadn’t known the answer then, but she knew it now.
She went to the lighthouse for the same reason anyone went to a lighthouse. She went because she needed light.

I’ve just read the most fantastic story… Sigh

Somehow and without expecting it, I’ve been transported right into my own personal fantasy and that’s just about every romance reader’s greatest wish ever.

Reminiscent of Outlander, The Night Mark is an accidental time travel romance that alternates between 2015 and 1921. Fans of Tiffany Reisz will appreciate that this novel's romance shines front and center and Ms. Reisz herself noted she believes it to be her most romantic story to date. While I have a lot of fun with the incorporation of kink, erotica, and brow-raising relationship dynamics in her other work, The Night Mark is love pure and simple. Imagine finding your one true love in a differe ...more

I'm so sad to say but I had to DNF this book. I love Tiffany Reisz and her incredible writing. I look forward to whenever she is releasing a new book. But.....for whatever reason, I could not get into the story. I know many have loved and it saddens me that I am not among them. I think I'm safe to say that time traveling is not my thing. (I do love Outlander but maybe it works for me because I'm watching not reading)

I loved this audiobook! I had read a couple of really good reviews for the book and decided to give the audio a try. I am so glad that I did. I couldn't get this book out of my head. If I wasn't listening to it, I was thinking about it. I listened to it for hours at a time and never tired of the story. I am so glad that I took a chance and bought this book.

This was a sweet lovable story about a lighthouse, time travel, love that never dies, and the need to think of life as a fishing net that has holes in it that always needs to be repaired.

Although, I am not a great reader of romance novels, this book with its wonderful characters and beautiful setting in the Lowcountry of South Carolina's shoreline and a lighthouse kept me going until it lovely ending. The Night Mark is proof positive that Tiffany Reisz can write just about anything and excel at it. Especially in the case of this book. I must admit, I see a new book written by Tiffany Reisz and I don't even read the blurb. I know I must read it. In the case of The Night Mark, reading the blurb might've been prudent. This book is deeply complex, emotional, and very spiritual. It involves something I tend to shy away from- time travel. I'm quite the literal person and things outside t

Get ready to read a book that brings 2 very popular stories together into one!! I am a big fan of the series Outlander and I really enjoyed the lighthouse mystery The Light Between Oceans. The Night Mark was a wonderful meeting of the 2, with a few extra twists in between!! A unique time traveling romance that alternates between life in the low country and life at the lighthouse.

The story is big and mysterious! The audio read was SUPER!! There is a lot going on with the characters - marriage, de

Ok so I grew up on a very small island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean where the statuesque imposing figures of two large lighthouses hovered. Their presence taken completely for granted by us locals, an every day and ordinary fixture as normal as the crystalline blue waters and powdery beach sand.

I thought of these familiar lighthouses the entire time I read Tiffany Reisz's The Night Mark, and it occurred to me, t

I have a tendency to stay away from romance books. However, I have a weakness for time travel books and I like both Kate Morton and Diana Gabaldon books so I just had to read this book.

Now, she is recently divorced and has traveled to South Carolina to take photos for a calendar. There, to her surprise, she discovers a loophole to the past, to the 20s, and t

Tiffany Reisz did it again!! I love that she keeps surprising her readers with a new element of twist every time. This was such a delightful read and a beautiful story from TR. I adore her writing, her stories leave a lasting impression on me and The Night Mark didn't disappoint me at all.

If you think of romance with a riveting storyline, passionate love story, endearing characters, and weaving together the different timeline then it’s got to be Ms. T. Reisz.

Let me spare you the boring, it's beautiful, captivating, I felt every emotion review. This was my second time reading a travel romance and hours after being done I'm still trying to figure out who's my favorite character. Then the whole lighthouse theme...I'm speechless. But the romance, the romance is what will gut you. Break out the tissues at around 20% and later on towards the end I had to stop reading at work. The feels!

The Night Mark has a magical feel to it, and a lot of that comes from Reisz's excellent writing. It's like a novel in a poem with a fantastical story in which realistic characters live their lives to the best of their abilities. Hope and love are strong themes, and I had to

I’ve read all of the books that Tiffany Reisz has written to date and for the most part, I’ve enjoyed them. THE NIGHT MARK is the second book that Reisz has written that is a bit of a departure from what we usually see from her.

This book is a romance but it’s different because it’s a time travel one. Now I wasn’t fully head over heels in the love with Reisz’s last book, THE BOURBON KINGS, as it kind of had a Historical feel to it. Now this book definitely has a Historical vibe to it because

An excerpt from a conversation between a woman from the 2000s and a man from 1921:

“You are such a badass,” she said, lightly pounding his chest with her fist.
“I’m a what?”

Because time travel. And lighthouses.

Not exactly sure how the time travelling works, don't really care much for the ending (view spoiler)
