And what were they? I'm slightly curious, but not curious enough to read through 22 pages long "discussion"."
If you're not interested to find the reason for yourself why did you join this thread? You need to read through it - you night learn something.

No, I don't.
And I found her "reasons", thanks to Daniel.
you night learn something.
I might. I might also waste time reading a 22 pages long discussion where the OP is obviously a troll:)

Yeah, Im not gonna not state my ideas and stick up for them just because other people disagree. And you seemed to be arguing against a whole, as Mae said, mob of people all alone, and I figured, Im just staing my opinion. At first, it was very hard for me to agree with anybody on here, even you Anamika, but I dont see a point in fighting about it when we can have a normal discussion like civil people and Im glad that I discovered this thread.

Yeah, because it's impossible to know stuff any other way, like for example speaking sanskrit...

Trolling troll is very good at trolling. I applaud you.

When I first read your question, I was surprised you chose the word "hate" with Anne Frank's Diary of a Young Girl, and while I believe that you are entitled to your opinion - I was always told to use it cautiously, that to hate someone or something was to wish or want that person dead or that object to be annihilated / to be destroyed.
I tried to find ways to get an idea if there were others that shared your opinion. Your question made me curious.
I can't say everything I found was is in support of your statement, because you didn't really give a reason that I could relate to. I did find a few others that didn't enjoy reading it, but none that said they hated it. I did find out that a school in Alabama tried to ban it in the early 1980s, because it was a "real downer."
While it isn't a happy topic, I think it's important for the world to have this historical record of this young girl's actual thoughts. I don't agree that it has no originality, no one else had the combination of exactly her thoughts, her words, her experiences - even if she wrote like the 13 year old girl she was.

Shes not a troll bro.

What thought? I sincerely admire the work you've put into this. You're a shining beacon for all who would follow your noble example.

wrong

What thought? I sincerely admire the work you've put into this. You're a shining beacon for all who would follow ..."
ughhh. stop it dude.

Sigh....actually Belle, everything Anamika has posted on this thread is direct evidence that she is either very young or a troll, or some combination of the two.
I notice that most the adults left this thread early on, and I plan to leave after this. I'm guessing you are young yourself and that is why you defend the OP.
I came to this thread to see why someone would "hate" any book, much less one about a young girl who had to hide away from the brutality of the Nazis, and eventually lose her life in a prison camp.
Instead of any real reasons, I found pages and pages of silly dodges and vague promises of "reasons to be revealed".
My only conclusion, based on Anamika's phrasing, sentence structure and tone, is that she is a second language learner (absolutely nothing wrong with that) and she is very young (also nothing wrong with that). Or she/he is trying to impersonate such a person making him/her a troll. If you somehow have proof that my conclusions are wrong, by all means post it here.
So having said that, I will leave you all to this thread.

And you would do what?

Tytti wrote: "And you would do what?"
Anamika wrote: "That need not be told right now."
Haha, this is priceless.

Belle... I've read every single one. This whole thread is either a game some young girl is playing. Or a troll. I come here to really discuss books. But I like to know who I'm talking to because I am not going to debate a young girl who has not had the life experiences adults have. It's futile. I also do not appreciate trolls.

I'm beginning to think Anamika and Belle are one and the same - maybe TwinTrolls.
I don't understand, Anamika, why you deny your strange use of English - you do not use it the way a habitual user of the language does. You have a very strange way of constructing your sentences, and really odd ways of using certain words. Nobody has criticised you for this. Okay, I will ask you this....is English the very FIRST language you ever spoke? I ask not to be rude, I'm just curious.

"I didn't actually finish this book. I was reading and then when I got closer to the end I found out she was most likely going to die in the end and didn't want to read it so...yeah. I didn't really like it that much I guess."
So, someone late to the thread still had an opinion to add that was closer to yours than to most other people's.
Guess that more people might agree with you later. I'll keep an eye on the thread for that, not for the other stuff that's cropped up. I actually have become curious about whether others have hated or at least disliked the diary.

Well, considering that admitting that you hate the Diary is even more stupid than just thinking that way, I am pretty happy to see that there aren't that many people out there to make that declaration... Maybe people on the website about literature are much more smarter than that.

I use English everyday-every single day.And it is my first language. My usage of the language depends upon my mood, whether I'm in a hu..."
It was not me who went off topic Anamika - I've not been around for a few days - but I see you're still looking for someone who HATES this book. I would suggest you put your request on Facebook or Twitter where you'll get a bigger response - but probably from people who don;t know what they're talking about!
I actually think your continued search is somewhat perverted; this thread has been running for weeks now and how many people have come forward to agree with you? Don't you think it's time you laid this to rest?
I agree with Tytti - I'm pleased to see you have had so few people admitting to the hatred you have declared.
As to your reasons for the way you use English - they are just as strange as everything else you have said so far.

I agree that this thread is better suited to twitter, facebook, or the like. Anamika you are looking for people to join a club where you are president and everyone agrees with you, not discuss a book.
When I say truth is important I am not talking about people sharing different opinions, I am talking about your true motivations for this thread, and who you are. It is so easy to go on a site and pretend to be somebody else. That kind of deception is wrong.

Oh how I wish I'D said all that! You have absolutely nailed it Mary.

She did. Hope the lid's down tight. Or everyone's got plenty of garlic and crosses.

She did. Hope the lid's down tight. Or everyone's got plenty of garlic and crosses."
Hahaha

seriously dude, mentally ill? WTF.

I'm beginning to think Anamika and Belle are on..."
really? Twin trolls? seriously. Just FYI I removed you from my friend list. What the hell. Just because i disagree with you and agree with Anamika (which has not been so the entire thread) it does not give you the right to say stupid crap like that. lol, whats up with people on here coming up with these retarded insults... i swear. And yes, its still "rumbling on" and if you think its ridiculous or stupid, then [how many times do I have to say it] STOP COMMENTING ON HERE.

I'd give everything (okay, maybe around 10 bucks) to be a fly on the wall when you think back on this thread in 5-10 years.

Are you criticizing my choice of being thought of as a mosquito over a fly? What's with all the retarded insults..
