I really hope RC doesn't follow in the footsteps of Last Sacrifice because that was the worst of the VA books.

Omg!!!! Just finished reading all the non-spoiler tweets and I'm just so wanting the book now!!! I have a really bad feeling someone we care about is going to die because of the crying in the early chapters and sounds like a traitor is within the group!!! Just no!!!! Don't think I can handle the waiting and oh yes everyone's like in this book so tons of old faces!!!!!! Ugh February can't come quick enough!!!!!!

Rose and Dimitri are getting married. Just a guess.
Maybe they can get married and still be able to protect Lissa
well the main couples are:Sydney and Adrian
Rose and dimitri
Eddie and Jill
Lissa and Christian
so maybe something happens to one of them... :o

Also said VA/Bloodlines couple which implies that the couple existed before Sydney/Adrian, Jill/Eddie, Neil/Olive etc.
Could even mean Sonya and Mikhail but I doubt it
Oh I really hope it's a baby for one of are main couples!! Love the idea of little Dragomirs running around....but can dhampires have kids? For some reason I thought they couldn't reproduce.
no dhampirs can't reproduce, so no little belikovs yet...but above ^^^^ people were theorising that maybe something happens that allows dhampirs to reproduce :) ahhhhhh it would be so exciting!!!!
Maybe when Dimitri was turned back into a dhampir, the spirit magic that did it also fixed his reproduction issues (same with Rose when Lissa saved her) and maybe now they can have babies. This is just my theory. I think they're all so young still. I kind of really hope that that isn't the bombshell.A couple possibilities I've been thinking about:
1) maybe Nathan Ivashkov is not Adrian's real dad. If so, I think that maybe Adrian will turn out to be Lissa's half-brother, AKA another Dragomir. Maybe Mr. Dragomir was a spirit user as well. Do any of the books ever mention what type of magic user he was?
2) Sonya and Mikhail can definitely reproduce, so a baby-on-the-way for them would make sense, but I don't know how this would be a bombshell. A surprise maybe, but nothing that would really impact the story in a big way.

It would be kinda a let down if the bombshell was just the strigoi vaccine, because we kind of already know that it's a 90% possibility to occur in the last book, however it doesn't have anything to do with a couple so that wouldn't be the bombshell

I don't want them to be related - just because they feels a little too... convenient? I hate hate when everyone in books ends up related. But I'm loving all the theories you're coming up with!

I think it would be either Rose/Dimitri or Lissa/Christian although we haven't gotten much of him in Bloodlines. I have a feeling it has something to do with Romitri(R + D = Rose + Dimitri)

Could be. I understand how and why vampire bats do what they do but something with a brain like a humans that still gets weaker in daylight and can control magic was either built wrong or built that way on purpose.Could be a plot for RM's next spin-off. :P
