Back in January, Carole told us about Books On The Subway. I contacted them and my book drops on the subway today!!
YAY!! We did very well with that!! Congrats, Christine!! Ask if you can get some pictures to put on social media. I don't remember if they did- I think they might have.
Thanks everyone! I'm very excited about this. I retweeted a tweet they posted this morning with a photo of my book in Astoria.
My good news for the day: I got a lovey review on Kindle bringing up my grand total of Amazon reviews to....wait for it....TWO! It made my day because it was so sweet and unexpected.
Oh, and well done Christine! Id love to see some pics of this event. Thats really exciting!

Here's a something good announcement I found on another thread. I hope it's okay to leave it here. If not, feel free to move it or get rid of it:)Hope this helps:
My name is Nigel and I run Beaten Track Radio, an internet radio station designed with readers, writers and publishers in mind.
We currently have vacancies for our Author Chat Live series for authors to come on the radio live and talk about their work, take questions from listeners (your readers) and play some of your favourite music.
We already have a thriving Sunday evening show for M/M stories and are opening up new shows for other genres. If you (or an author you know) would like to get involved then please contact me via email ( nigel@beatentrackradio.com ) and we’ll discuss the nuts and bolts.
We also are just starting to accept advertising so, if when planning your next blog tour you feel we can be of assistance please contact sales@beatentrackradio.com and someone will get back to you ASAP. Our advertising rates start from 1GBP per 30 second slot. I’m pretty sure you won’t find a cheaper deal anywhere.
You can listen to Beaten Track Radio via:

I may be more quiet on Goodreads for a while (see profile pic :)). If I downloaded your book, I will get to it, but maybe not as quickly. I noticed I have a promotion running in the UK without actually promoting it, and without promotion no sales. Oh well...
Check it out! Illustrator, Mati Arkova, took these pictures at the Bologna Children's Book Fair! Bologna Children's Book Fair http://www.bookfair.bolognafiere.it/e...

That's great news!!
Awesome news everyone! My something good is that I was approved for a thunderclap campaign for the Facebook Hop that I am cohosting with Amanda Siegrist (there is still time to host a stop btw!) within the first two hours of posting it everywhere I could think of (including here!) we already have 22% supported!!! The hop is two weeks from today on the day that my new book comes out! Super excited in case you couldn't tell lol!
Sorry to hear, Amy. :(But that's great news, Alex. Fanmail! I haven't got any of that, so you're well ahead of me. :)
Lol, I've had a shithouse day, so I won't hold my breath.Smart! I include website, facebook, twitter, goodreads and newsletter link and already fear that divides attention too much. But maybe it's not a bad idea...
Yeah, I also put the list of my titles, plus the chapter for the next book (or the previous one, depending if it's ready!)Thanks! I'm going to go to bed soon and hopefully sleep off my bad mood. Fingers crossed tomorrow is a better day.
Good for you, Alex. Amy, I'm with Alex--Boo! Boo! But we can all identify:)
Aislinn, hope your day is better!
Something good happened today! Amazon finally accepted the short story I've been trying to publish for weeks. (They sent it back like 4 times it was super annoying)So yay!

I had some weird, but exciting thing happen today. Everywhere I went on the internet, Amazon was advertising my book Pepper Parrot's Problem with Patience. I wonder if I was the only one they were promoting it too? lol
Haha Amazon have been advertising my own books to me as well. Hopefully they are to other people, too. :p
Please let me know if you see an ad for my book. I have a countdown deal this werk and havent seen a thing on Amazon or in their mails...or is that usual?
Ruth, I don't think Amazon advertises Countdown deals much, but I could be wrong. I never used one during my brief period in Select.I believe that Amazon just buys ad space across multiple sites, and the ads that you see are all based on your individual browsing. Hence, because I've been to my own book page a lot, that's what they show me. I'm guessing it's the same for you, Carole. They wouldn't show that same ad to someone that hadn't browsed the page before.
Thanks Ainslin. Its my first one, so still learning as I go along.
