Mary Catelli | 1818 comments High fantasy in a post-apocalyptic North America!

In fact, Frozen Dreams by Moe Lane is a high-fantasy hard-boiled detective novel set in a post-apocalyptic North America and is a delight.

Then there's Shadow of the Tower, a collection of fantasy adventure short stories over centuries, and you can see history progressing if you watch with care, because the story comes first. (I am particularly fond of the adventuring party that is registered and bonded in Kentucky Free State, reasonable fees, references available on request.)

Now Morgan Barod, an immediately post-apocalyptic tale. Adventures, monsters, still sorting out the magic, and some of the high fantasy aspects not yet emerged.

I've been reading most litRPG/progression fantasy using my Kindle Unlimited account. I cannot recommend the Cradle series by Will Wight highly enough. Absolutely great series, starting with Unsouled.

I believe the final book is coming out in the fall of this year, so there is an end in sight.
