I think I will claim the task "Read a book with a young woman as main character" if nobody minds=)
K, we unfortunately can't use Sister Dear for the mini-challenge because it has to be books started Feb 14 or after. So it's actually a good thing you didn't get any reading done last night because now we can use Glass Sword for the mini-challenge. I did manage to hold off starting Too Late until this morning and ironically enough I lost track of time and was late to work :-p
Oops! I guess I didn't read the directions closely enough. :(. I thought it started yesterday. (Par for my course!). I will try to find another book with a jail bird to replace.

Oh I'm definitely sucked in!! I even brought the book to work with me for my slow periods. Normally I read on my Kindle PC app so it's not so obvious but I don't care....I NEED to know what's going to happen next!! Thankfully the BF is at work until tomorrow so that means my V-day date is going to be with my book :-DAnd you don't have to find another jail bird because there are 30 challenges and we can only pick 15.
Glad you can spend time with Ms. Hoover tonight!! :)Also am glad I don't necessarily need to find another jailbird! Ha! I just so happened to have been reading that one yesterday so at least I didn't pick it out specifically for that task.

When did you start reading it? In order for books to count for the mini-challenge they have to be started on or after Feb 14.

OMG!!! I don't think Too Late is going to last long enough for me to spend this evening with it!! Thankfully I've already submitted my financials and am waiting for review feedback....I'm so glad I am having a slow day at work because if I actually had something to do I don't think I would get it done!!! My co-workers all just giggle and leave me alone because they know how touchy the accountants get this time of year...heehee!!

There was definitely a lot of feels throughout the whole book....talk about a roller coaster! I'm definitely going to check out her other books...and Bad Mommy too bcz you guys have great recommendations! You guys should get a commission for all your Hoover converts!
HaHa! We are definitely big fans of both of them! Tarryn writes really crazy stuff. You don't always like her characters but her stories are far from "formula" written. It's usually hard to know what to expect ~ which I really appreciate!
lol yes Fisher is definitely not a happy ever after kind of gal.You should try Hoover's it ends with us next it's fab, in fact if you listen to audio I have it on audible if you want it, I can send it over to you.

I just started that one today! I listened to it on my way to work and wished I had a longer drive so I could listen more! Talk about diving straight into deep, dark and honest conversation...

I do have audible...can you get more than one free one? I just started listening to audible in the last year and it has definitely saved me from beating my head on the desk at work when I'm bored with number crunching! Although from the sounds of it I need to be careful listening to It Ends with Us...although it wouldn't be the first time I've been "leaking" at my desk because of a damn audiobook!!
I remember one time I had to pull off the road into a parking lot while listening to

You can get a free US book and also a free UK one, plus that one that you had free when you started your membership.....cool huh?

Oh yes - I would be happy to send you a freebie. I have an audible shelf you can pick from if you'd like! I didn't see if this was in relation to a specific book or not.
Guys, how do you do it?! I have not been able to stop listening to It Ends with Us for the last three hours..on the drive home, through my 90 minutes training and now through dinner...I'm hooked!! =P

UGH!! I just accepted a free book from one of my friends last week and all she listens to are self-help books....WHY?!?! oh why did I waste my free book!!!!! On a positive note, I have another dead day at the office so I get real book time!! The secretary just brought the mail and I have two new books that showed up!! But I have to finish The Widow first before I start another real book.....maybe....
