I've been pretty busy this week so I haven't updated us yet but I'm just about to.This is the last month of Uno. Have you guys enjoyed it? I really have and will definitely play again! I ended up reading waaaay more books than I thought I was going to be able to. A lot of short books and I usually don't read as many of those. It's the dang challenge addiction! Speaking of, did you sign up for Tower Teams? I know that's another group but most of us are in a lot of the same groups so... I did and I can't wait to read some of those long books I've been putting off :)
It's going to be a beautiful day today and I'm in the mood for some spring cleaning! Sounds fun, huh? LOL. Actually I'm going to my mom's and we're going to go through a lot of her stuff that she has in the garage. It's time for a garage sale! I even have some stuff to add :)

Is there going to be a mini challenge this month?My reading is lacking a little at the moment but it will pick up tonight I should finish a book, I just had a busy weekend and then setting up the shuffleboard challenge took some time :-)

Sorry this has been so long coming... I've had a fairly shit month so far. My best friends little sister was diagnosed with cancer, I've had crappy, judgey family in town, my last job I worked at had a major managerial upheaval and I said I'd pick up some shifts until they hired someone, so I was working close to 16 hour days between my two jobs with only four hours of sleep each night and the cherry on the cake was I had to rush my cat to the emergency vet this afternoon... Not good times.My one piece of good new is that I got offered kind of the perfect job for me yesterday! It's a 9-5, Monday to Friday deal where I help adults with developmental disabilities build their social networks and help them feel more included in the community. A lot of people had said I was being too picky in what I wanted for a job but I stuck to my guns and I've finally found a good one! I'm pretty pumped about it! They are even sending me to a conference in the city next week for three days!
So hopefully with my new job my life will calm down some and I'll be able to contribute more around here!
Wow! That's a lot to go through at one time! I'm glad there is a little bit of sunshine in all that darkness. Congratulations on the new job :) This is just a game, so don't even worry about it. Real life comes first and I am a firm believer in playing this for fun rather than pressured to be #1.

The Easter bunny has been busy here around the Perks and has hidden a number of eggs within the team threads. (one per team thread)
Some of the eggs have tasks for you to read to gain extra points. Some require you to fill in the missing word/s or solve the riddles she left you and PM the answer to Pixie. For these ones, your captain/co-captain will send a PM with you answer to me (Pixie).
There are lots of points on offer! 10 points for each task completed! (unless otherwise specified) Plus an extra 5 bonus points for each completed egg (i.e. you complete all the tasks given for that team egg)
