How about this instead, Berit. If we use Tampons then we will lose a word, or at least a 7 letter word. Unless someone can work their mojo and come up with something better, that is. Can you make either of these work instead? You already have at least 4 letters from each word.Brambly

Sure, I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I can do krypton.. why would we lose the word? Maybe I am completely not understanding the challenge, LOL sorry I was trying to make things easier for you, and I probably made them harder :-)
Well, we only have certain letters to use to make the words and can only use them once. I spent hours trying to use all available letters and get as many words as I could come up with. Now, I don't even know if we can spell out all that but I was trying to make sure we had the option. This is what I came up with and it only leaves 2 unused letters. I might play around with the descrambler and see if I can make tampons work, but there aren't many vowels.7 Letter words

OK, for some unknown reason I thought tampons was a word we needed to fill, why I thought this, is beyond me, LOLOh, I think I get what you're saying, we can't use the letters as many times as we want to, is that correct?
Please whatever you do do not spend more time trying to re-scramble and scramble on my account, because that was actually way harder than I was thinking it was if that was the case...
Right, 48 letters total and we can use them once. But, there are 6 E's for instance. I really didn't think it would be as hard as it was but there just weren't enough vowels and other important letters. I'm sure other teams have come up with better options but I kind of gave up at what I found, lol.It was really sweet of you though :) Besides, you've already knocked out at least 4 letters of 1 of the words!

Has anyone found a book for 7/V Yellow? I thought I had one but it's not 50% :( I did find another that will work and it's only $3.99 but I don't want to buy it if someone else is already planning on reading something for this.
I can find something, but I don't think I necessarily have something that I am aware of at this moment :-)
I'm doing a reread of The Princess Bride for my Shelf Pursuit game so that knocks another one off either Part 1 or Part 3, wherever we need that one. After that, no one else has found a 7 Yellow I'll go to my library and pick something up. I have two really yellow books but both are non-fiction and I haven't looked too far into whether either one will work yet (

Hmm, I don't think they will work. In the captain's group they have said a character must have some dialogue to be counted. However, since this is NF and Voltaire is referenced, maybe?? But I do have a book that will fit the 7 yellow and I already bought it anyways, lol. So no worries!

Okay, so I've been thinking and I need some feedback from you guys. On the Scrabble part we only get credit for 1 incomplete word. So my question is this...Is it easier for you all to read for certain words or should we just put up the letters that work with a book and make words at the end? There are 18 different letters with 48 total.
Not sure, quite honestly it is a difficult thing to manage, because quite frankly I don't want to list 20 or more letters that each of my book can work for ;-)
Which is why I thought that picking words would be easier to manage. I guess we can keep going that way and then if I need to make new words from the letters that we've used, I can do that at the end.
I'll get everything updated tomorrow. I need to post a couple of books myself.
I'm about to finish a Y that will work for it :-)

Nope, it's not too late but i already used all the ones you had posted. I can move things around though if needed. In fact, I might have already done that for a couple of them (A for K?) I think. You can also use the series name for the Mini Scrabble part!

We need more than 1 of those if we are going to finish more words :) Or any of these - R, R, A, L, Y - those are the ones we have in play at the moment.As far as cards, we just have the Wilds and that dang 7 Yellow.
