3 - Character first name H - Howard.
6 - Character first name S - Slick.
8 - Character surname E - Elliot.
SKIP - Title starting with P - Practical.
Line 77 of the spreadsheet for me. Character name was Ford not Frank. Frank was the book I read previously '84 Charing Cross Road'
Chris wrote: "Line 77 of the spreadsheet for me. Character name was Ford not Frank. Frank was the book I read previously '84 Charing Cross Road'"Huh, no clue why/how that name appeared there?
But thanks for the catch! It's been changed.
I'm currently reading
, and it can count for a 6 (title S) or a Skip (author last name Kondo). The cover is a very light yellow. I would probably not use it for a yellow since it is not bright.I've also pretty much decided that
is not something I can read by Friday. Therefore, I went and picked up the book Eldarwen suggested,
, and am reading that. It will fit the Y. I might read Life of Pi after I finished Poison Study but I think it will be a slow read. I just can't make myself want to sit down and read it.

It was such a cute and funny book. I'm grinning so much as I am writing this post.

That's great, Ginger! We all need books like that from time to time :-)
Just picked up 'The Butterfly Lion' but on looking at the font and Wikipediaing the author, Michael Morpurgo, I quickly realised this is a children's book! I don't think I'm allowed to read it for the UNO challenge. Can you confirm yay or nay please? If not, I'll read Grey Wolf: The Escape of Adolf Hitler.
I've just looked on arbookfinds.com. It's a nay as it only has 14,000 words so I'll read Grey Wolf. Oh well, I'll use it for my Popsugar challenge! What a pillock!

Don't worry. We all have a senior moment from time to time
Ah yes, childrens' books can be used but need to be above 25.000 words.Shame!
But at least you have something else ready to go :-)
Also, I'm just going to pretend I didn't read that "senior moment" comment *grin*
Wow!Go to work for one day and I miss everything!!
Gotta look through my books now...
I have one question. Should I finish Succubus Shadows this month -- author Richelle Mead ? Will it help with the March mini at all? Or should I just save it for April?
I'm soooo confused!
I just finished Harry Potter & will finish Cupcake tonight or tomorrow!

I did enjoy this, but I think I would have liked it even more not in play format...
It works for Hand 14, yellow card 3 and all the characters in the HP Universe for the March Mini!

We have Succubus down for scrabble, the H in Myrrh, so it would be good if you finish it this month if you can. If not - let us know. :)

I'll finish by Thursday! :) now you really see my adult A.D.D. in action!
Wooohoo!! :-DDI found the first part a bit slow-going but the second part picks way up. And then there's book 4 which is absolutely awesome! And I really, really, really need to read book 5!! Maybe in April finally :-)
Have you read A Court of Thorns and Roses? A female MC that needs some getting used to but it's an awesome series. And book 2 blew me away. That ending!!! I am still reeling over it whenever I think about it.

No, I haven't read ACOTAR yet but I definitely will.
If book 4 is so good maybe I should go to bookshop and buy it so I could start it right after 3rd. ;-)

Hmm, I might just pick up this series again, haven't been in the mood for fantasy for a while - but this series is a good one :)

Whoo-hoo! Now moving on to April!
I will volunteer for:
Yellow 3 - The Cold Dish - character Henry
Red 5 - The Angel's Game - character Isabella
I'll see what this week's other challenges have in store for me before I claim any more books... :)
Lauri wrote: "Whoo-hoo! Now moving on to April!

Unfortunately this counts as brown and not yellow, but I'll add it for another spot :)
Annalisa wrote: "I completed Poison study for a scrabble Y. I really enjoyed it."Happy to hear that!! :-)
It seems quite. I thought I would post with books I am currently reading and will finish in April.
2 - Second Book
3 - Character Lily Horton-Miller
4 - Character Sam Fielding
6 - Character Sam Fielding
9 - Character Nathan
Reverse - Read by Ginger
2 - Goodreads lists it as book 2. It feels more like a companion to me.
6 - Title S
Skip - Author last name Kondo
I'm giving this a go. It was getting a little more interesting. So far I only know of one place this will fit there are not a lot of characters in this novel. Most of them are mentioned as a memory so they aren't even present.
Skip - Chracter Pi Patel
I read 3 pages of this book last night when I was bored. I think I'll be finishing it.
? 6 - Author has a hyphenated last name Braxton-Smith I think it problably doesn't count but on the off chance it does I'm including it here.
9 - Character Neen Marrey
I'm sure when I complete the books I'll have more places they will fit.
I'll probably also pick up the rest of the Study series this month. I hope the rest is just as good as Poison Study.
The other two are different but the characters are great :-) They didn't give me the same feeling as Poison Study but I did enjoy them.

Annalisa, if you do go with Life of Pi, it can go for a reverse as well. I've read it & loved it. It's weird and wonderful!

I remember that when I saw movie when I was kid, me and my cousins wandered around old, overgrown places and hoped we would find a secret garden.

Sounds like an interesting series - title wise at least. I haven't really checked what it is about. And they seem to be quick reads! ;-)
Yes, it was really unusual and wicked. I really like reading fairy tales retellings and these one was different. Now I am thinking about reading some Beauty and the Beast retelling because I watched a movie a few days ago and now I am listening and singing songs all the time.
