The Perks Of Being A Book Addict discussion
ARCHIVE Team Challenge: UNO 2017
>
Team Kate Daniels
For the mini challenge, there are these two tasks:Read a book with over 500 000 ratings
Read a book with over 10 000 reviews
I can read
for either of those two in case nobody else has books to fit these tasks.
I have a buddy read plan for today
- 1st in the series, not sure about others yetand
- a book with 1 & 6 in the page count, a book first published in 2011
I'm almost done with Cress it has 18,990 reviews!AND I went on 5 different teams to send distinctly different Easter greetings. I still have not mastered the art of the link...
So they are: Ron Weasley msg. 749, Ty & Zane msg. 1395, Becky Bloomwood msg. 530, Heathcliff msg. 446, Ove msg. 277. Hope that helps!
Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
Read: 04.15
Rating: ★★★★
Possible Cards:
3- 3rd in series
6 - author Sarah J. Maas
8 - place Erilea
Draw 2 - Same book for 2 cards
Lauri, Cress will only work if you started it after the countdown ended, which I'm assuming you might not have? :-( So unfortunately that one isn't going to work.Ginger, the published in 2011 task might be harder to fill so your book might be best slotted there. The other one, we'll just see until you're done? Maybe there's something else in there we can use :-)

Also, just for future reference in case you ever need it again. How to link a specific message:
At the top right of your message, you can see the time stamp. When you right click on that time stamp, you can choose "copy link location" and that is basically the link to your specific message.
To then post the link, you do this: (a href="LINK")whatever-you-want-to-name-the-link(/a)
And you replace the () with <>.

Aaaaand? What did you think?
The first 1/3 of the book was quite boring but later it was really interesting. I adore Rowan so much (even more because he has silver hair). And I hated Sorscha so I am glad about this ending.But why did that happen to my Dorian?! I am so pissed! The King must die!
Chris wrote: "I'll read 'One Day' by David Nicholls please. It has over 15,000 reviews on GR :-)"Squeezing you in!

=============================
SPECIAL TASK
In Team Yvaine, I found this task:
"The act of exchanging gifts of eggs dates back to the time of the Egyptians and Persians! Painted eggs were given as gifts to symbolize fertility and new life
✣ Give Easter gifts/greetings to the other teams.
1p / greeting. Each gift / greeting must be different to count."
==============================
Since I'm already there, I have left an Easter greeting for that team. Please spread out, and leave a nice little message in the other team threads - Annika and I can cover any that are left over if you aren't up for hitting all of them.
Once your message is posted, please let us know here in our thread, preferably with a link to the message. Thanks! :-)
