Rating: B
Review: This is the 4th and final book of the Steampunk Chronicles and a nice end to a series that I wanted more of. The characters are all fabulous and strong in their own right so this series can appeal to many. This series started me down the winding path that has become Steampunk.

Review: This is the 3rd book of the Invisible Library series and just as fabulous as the first two books. The characters and world are even more developed as the story progresses and a clearer understanding of the idea behind the library is gained in this book. Fantastic and quick read!

Review: This is the 4th book of the Pendergast series and the first one that actually scared me a bit. Pendergast is an exceptional character and every book makes me love him even more. I highly recommend this series to anyone!

Good progress"
Thank you Bentley, this was my first time formatting a response and was hoping I got it close :)

Review: This is the second book in the Internment series and while I loved the first book, this one was a bit dark and depressing. I am hoping the third book is able to pull the story together into more of a positive ending for the series.

Review: This is the final book of the series and it had a few moments where I thought I may end up being angry at the author, but the series ended well and I can say that I recommend this series.

Review: This was a very short novella about Lyra and witches that was an enjoyable return into the world of His Dark Materials since it has been so long since I last read the series.

Review: The 5th Pendergast novel and once again it did not let me down. The end has made me very impatient for the next book!

Review: The first book in a series that has a fun concept of two main character being ladies related to Sherlock Holmes and Bram Stocker with wonderful skills of deduction and fighting. It takes a bit to get used to reading from the two different views but by the end I really liked both characters and have started the next book.

Review: The 6th Pendergast novel and I have come to appreciate that sometimes characters die and sometimes you get to find out that they actually didn't. Bring on the next book!
Bentley wrote: "Great progress Andrea"Thank you! I have slowed down now that classes have started again. I'm still hoping to get at least two finished for Feb. I have about 10 started and nothing is sucking me in at the moment.

Review: The 8th book in the Pendergast series and my least favorite thus far. Most of the book is set on an ocean liner and Pendergast is just not his normal self it seems so between the setting and the characters it was just not as enjoyable to me personally.

Review: The 3rd book in the Red Queen series and possibly my least favorite. The book was long and took me forever to get into it because it was a bit depressing, then it got really good and I flew through the middle, but then ended up not being very happy with the ending. I'm not sure where the next book will head, but I will surely read it when it comes out.
Oh my gosh I totally forgot to be posting here and now have about 40 books to add. Thank you for reminding me :)
You are welcome - make sure to look at the introduction thread for the folder - there have been some folks who have posted rankings and reviews on books that we are currently discussing or have scheduled for discussion - on those books - if they were posted after January 10th - should simply have TBA for the ranking and review segments until the group discussions are over. Then just add whatever ranking and review you want - we ask only that they be civil.
However, this rarely happens to be the case but just check the books that are scheduled if you have any questions. We are here to help.
