Read at least 10 books which are gathering dust on my tbr for more than two years."
This is what I really need to do.
Three Body Problem was phenomenal, hard SF at its best. I also need to start Red Rising.
Good luck for your reading goals.
P.S. Hoping that you read Retribution Falls among the recommendations.
Thanks Akshay!
Children of the Night and Midnight Mass, that's what I am planning to read. But if Retribution Fall is on my tbr for more than two years, I will definitely pick it up.:)

" I have already read potato society and The God father .I am going to read boy's life ,city of thieves , Tigana ,lone some doves real soon .then we will talk ." :P

It's a fantasy, YA-ish, children series of 13 books. Although one of the mentioned genre is children, the theme of the books are dark, hilarious and the narration is very unique. I recommend this for your epics read, although it's not technically our normal full on fantasy genre. Just read the blurb and if interested, a few pages of the first book. :D I will be doing this series this year, so would be great if I have others who read along.

Do give me a shout on the sci-fi reads. Will try to join. I think I have read the first book of red rising. So open for the rest of the books in this one and 3 body both. Gorab also may want to join in the sci-fi ones

Will join Akshay is saying read Retribution Falls and we can do book 2 and the rest together! :D
@Meera: happy new year and thanks!:)
@buddy: I will try my best to finish atleast four of them. sure. will pick retribution soon. :D

(new)
Almost a week into 2017 and I have read five books already. ;)
1. Tall, Dark & Heartless(2 stars)
Picked this book totally on a whim. I was in mood for a fast and fun read and this book looked promising. Also I liked this author's other series, Neighbour from Hell. But I didn't like it and have no plans to read other books from this series.
2. The Hobbit(4 stars)
My first fantasy of the year and am glad I liked. I loved the movies and because of them I kept waiting for Legolas but he never appeared. :( movies had Orcs, Galadriel and Saruman (a little cameo by Sauron too), I guess I was a liitle disappointed. Nonetheless, it was simple and captivating. I felt like a child slaying a dragon, goblins and winning the world.
3. Moloka'i(4 stars)
This book revolves around Leprosy, its victims and how people treated the diseased. Transported to a secluded island and surrounded by fellow lepers, we read how Rachel accepted that she is different, people's hatred and love.
4. From Sand and Ash(4 stars)
Story of an American who chose to be priest in Italy but couldn't stay away from the girl, a Jew, he loved. Of story had some gruesome details of WW 2.
5. The Score(3 stars)
Been reading a lots fluff since late last year. Third book in the series, it was fun. Will definitely read other books in the series.
Currently am reading:
The Thorn Birds
The Summer that Melted Everything
Small Great Things
Am finishing these three books neext week.
The Idiot
Books I will pick next week:
The Fifth Season
The Liar's Key
Days of Blood & Starlight
