Nat Kennedy - Blooded is out!

I do think animation can hold more e..."
Well, I'm only judging that by the look of the blurb and by the idea that she's a high schooler - ala Inuyasha. Yona is all set in a fantasy world of the medieval past, so it brings a more dramatic, adult-like feel than a lot of typical teen anime. Plus, the major upsetting incident of that first episode. I was in shock-land after that for about 3 episodes. lol

Awww. That's kitty bliss right there!
Here's mine. hehe. His name is Pan, or Pannie... or Pannie McPan, or Pannie in his Pannie Pants. lol

(Old cover for old flier)

They do like to snuggle up with our works, don't they. Maybe they can feel the emotion we put into them, maybe that's warm.
As for the Anime... I hadn't seen Fushigi in many years. It is a high school student crossing worlds, though. I think I even read the manga, but... it's been Years!!!

I don't trust it. My Pan looks like an adorable angel, but is really evil incarnate. ;)
That face though... those eyes! It forces me to continue to serve him. EVIL!

Yes. He. Never. Shuts. Up. lol
He acts like we never feed him. And his meow sounds like the red alert from Star Trek. Not even joking. Why does he have to be so cute?! It's torture. ;)

@Alex, Your food is obviously more tasty. That is funny... maybe she thinks you're an easier mark.

So, no productivity today.
Anyone need a cat?

Thanks for the great interview, Amanda! I had so much fun.

I have GOT to find time to read your books! We share so many things in common in our book series and genre!
Also, love your cat's name. Do you call it Melli for short? ;)
I finally got around to read your interview, Nat. Great job. Especially the first question. I like the way you built up the suspense until you got to the actual answer. It helped get to know you much better than if you'd had gone straight to the point.

OOh, thank you! She is Melli and sometimes she's Shithead. :)
I know, I am excited about your book too!! I love the whole mythology concept and the Egyptian bits. I'm actually keen on Egypt.

*feels warm and gooshy inside* Thanks GG! Glad to share myself with folks. And thank you for reading. :)

Haha! Shithead works for most cats. ;)
I'm keen on Egypt too! All myths, really, but especially Egypt! :D *high Egypt five!*

Time to pull out... the scheduler.
Now, I've got it mapped out, by week, how many chapters I WILL do. I just need to focus and walk the forced march on the second draft plot edit. I can fluff it up a bit later and make the words all pretty.
Cheers to everyone struggling with productivity. My current self-advice... I can't wait to be in the mood.

I still need to finish Shadow of Mordor and Skyrim. Both I like, but I hate finishing things. You never finish Civ.

I used to have that condition. Somewhere along the way, I got annoyed with myself, and I started pushing myself to write/edit/storyboard, even when I feel flakey.
I try to take breaks though; that's the key, I think. But I always come back to it. I'll do something fun or stupid, like a game or movie, and then I'll come back and MAKE myself do author stuff, no matter what. And sometimes, I take a day or two to do nothing. But I come back to it. Even if it's just just a paragraph or two, it's a step forward!

I wish every month could be as productive as NaNoWriMo for me.

I usually spend some time every weekend gaming in some way. It's relaxing for me, but it does take away from writing time.

I finished chapter 12. I took my laptop to my bedroom and sat there with NO internet and just edited till the end of the chapter.
I feel a bit spiffy right now.
Only chapter 13! Hopefully have that done by the end of the week. Two chapters a week is my goal.
CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo hoo! Go Nat!

I can fall into OCD (not clinically, but just an obsession) that I tell myself is better than drug addiction, but it usually involves a fandom of some sort.
I'm must better at ending things I'm not into. I just DNFed a book everything loved... but not me. So, before I would have forced myself to eventually finish. The games, I do want to finish, but I don't want them to be over. Make sense?
Never heard of that game. Addictive, you say?

I used to be very numbers orientated. I blamed it on the fact that I'm a Virgo Rising, but I seem to be less worried about that lately. Which means I'm a bit more of a slacker, which isn't good either.
Glad you're improving. Added extra stress usually isn't beneficial.
Take care of you!

Anyway, if you did forget about me, I've a great opportunity for you to get to know me better. I'm going to be taking up some air time at the Facebook event for the SIA Title Wave promo event. Check out the awesome books and come and meet the spectacular authors!
I'm chatting July 1, 8:30 am EST (which is 5:30 am PST... so you can just come and mock my incoherency). Great chance to come and babble and have some stupid fun.

See you Saturday!

It should be fun. I'm hoping anyway! I don't do facebook too often, but I wanted to help promote and be involved and try this facebook event thingy out.
I'll just throw coffee at the computer screen and hope that takes c are of everything.

I'm in a great promo with 10 authors offering 17 books. There are USA Today bestselling authors and award winners. All fantasy and science fiction. Come and take a Book Trip: Visit new Worlds through your kindle.

Butt Week is just peeking around the corner! Aug 20th - 26th and I just wanted to say hi!
Also, here is a Thunderclap - Shameless Butt Plug.
https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/6...

A Thunderclap is a tool promos use to get the word out. You sign up your facebook, twitter or tumblr (I think it's tumblr) to post an advertisement on one day. It's a one time post. You can follow the link to get an idea of how it works without signing up.
