Thanks! It's a third re-read for me too I think, but I've only read this one three times and the second once. After that I've read none. So I'd like to get through the series.

I can't wait to read it! I won Lady Midnight, & I felt kind of bad because I've never read the Mortal Instruments or The Infernal Devices D: so I'm hoping I could read through the whole series as well

Oh right. Yeah I've bought all of them in the series, but haven't read them XD Same with TID. Would you guys mind reading them all in order of publication, or do you just want to read TMI? Because I want to read them so they all follow on.

I would love to join you guys since I planned to reread the series starting in January. I've only listened to the audiobooks and I think I'd like it much better reading it myself. Plus I got the Shadowhunter's Codex a few months ago and want to read it so badly!

Sounds good to me. I listened to the audiobook for Clockwork Angel and didn't like it very much so I wanted to give that series another shot. I would also like to buddy read Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy sometime down the road since short stories would work well in a group discussion =)

Ah right. I've read Clockwork Angel twice now, but never managed to get to the next one haha. No time.

I can't wait to read Bane. I don't have Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. Is that the latest one?

It was released as separate novellas first but just came out as one novel last month I think. It's about Simon a few years after TMI ended training the new shadowhunters. I also really want to read the Bane Chronicles but I heard it's best to finish TID first so I put it on pause.

I was just going to read chapter one and then go jump in the shower... and I finally stopped after 5 chapters. Oops =)

I already feel like I'm catching so many things I missed while listening to the audiobook before.

I got the Codex and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy a few days ago and I'm dying to read them!! I guess rereading the entire series will be best ;D

well I'm not reading them all in a row because I can't do that. I have too many other books to read. maybe we aim for 2 a month or something like that? but we plan the start dates separately.

I agree with Maddison. There are like 11 books, not including the Codex and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. As much as I'm loving City of Bones, it's a lot to binge. At least if we read 2-3 a month we will be reading Lady Midnight right before Lord of Shadows comes out.

I was out of town for a couple days and couldn't bring my new kindle so I'm still working on book one, but I will finish pretty soon. I think somewhere around two weeks for each book would probably be a fair amount of time for everyone.

I didn't realize how many books I had left to read this month so I probably wouldn't get to it until February, too. After that I can power through them though.
