I signed up for 40 but I have only completed 27 and have decided to quit this challenge. I recently had my second child so I'm pretty behind on my personal reading goal of 75 books. In order to focus on catching up, I'd rather just read whatever I feel like at the moment and not feel pressure to read to fulfill a specific challenge.

2. A book that's been on your TBR list for way too long- Pygmy
4. An audiobook- The Magician's Elephant
5. A book by a person of color- Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood
7. A book that is a story within a story- Lyrebird Hill
8. A book with multiple authors- I Can't Make This Up: Life Lessons
12. A bestseller from a genre you don't normally read- So You've Been Publicly Shamed
13. A book by or about a person who has a disability- Greyhound
14. A book involving travel- The Bette Davis Club
15. A book with a subtitle- A Mother's Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy
17. A book involving a mythical creature- Dead Witch Walking
23. A book with a red spine- No Country for Old Men
26. A book by an author from a country you've never visited- Big Little Lies
27. A book with a title that's a character's name- Sun and Moon Sisters
29. A book with an unreliable narrator- The Woman in Cabin 10
30. A book with pictures- The Tree Who Didn't Want to Grow
31. A book where the main character is a different ethnicity than you- Invisible Man
32. A book about an interesting woman- Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between
33. A book set in two different time periods- The Long and Faraway Gone
36. A book written by someone you admire- The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo
38. A book set around a holiday other than Christmas- Leave Me
39. The first book in a series you haven't read before- A Game of Thrones (This was actually a DNF for me because I couldn't stand the audiobook narrator and I just don't have time to read a physical copy right now)

Advanced
41. A book recommended by an author you love- Brighton
42. A bestseller from 2016- All the Ugly and Wonderful Things
44. A book that takes place over a character's life span- Deviant: The Shocking True Story of Ed Gein, the Original "Psycho"
45. A book about an immigrant or refugee- In the Country We Love: My Family Divided
47. A book with an eccentric character- Good as Gone
51. A book about a difficult topic- My Best Friend's Exorcism
