Fiction
Historical
Romance
Book Club
Can I count this as Historical Romance even though the two put together do not appear?

Today I finished [book:The Art of Hearing Heartbeat..."
If you want a couple of good ones: Water for Elephants and The Night Circus are amazing. They're not so romancey that you want to throw up, but there's enough of it that they can count for the square.

I read both of those a couple of years ago. Since Water for Elephants would count as Historical Romance, I'm going to count my book. Here is a comparison. Neither has "Historical Romance" on the main page, just "Historical" and "Romance."

I don't really go by GR "genres" since any book that's on a shelf enough times suddenly becomes a part of that genre. I don't know how many fantasy novels I've read that are actual fantasy and are constantly shelved on GR as young adult. It's ridiculous.
