I really want to read your books!

Haha thanks for all the suggestions! I'm just going to pick one of the names I like, try to play her out, and if it doesn't fit, move to the next one.
*reads the part where Alia talks about her character getting harmed and hides* My character had a part to play in that. Here's the part where I show how cold my heart is: I didn't feel extremely bad during it. I did feel bad for a friend who had her character killed off, but not the type of emotion that makes tears come out of my eyes. Sad scenes don't usually bother me in books and roleplays.
Speaking of which, I still need to think of how to put Laura in serious trouble....

That's the first step of what I do. I just do a little more thinking after that.

Lol!!!! xD Now you made me laugh! Mine is Leo, so I could have used that if the character was male. I did do Leona or something, but it's not the same.

Both of them are fantasy

Lol!!!! xD Now you made me l..."
I've actually seen a book with a character named Capricon. It wasn't his birth name, though.
(Oh when is his birthday??)

xD
Yep!
(I guessed it as July 30th for some reason!)

Glad to make you laugh!
Also I think Inkspell has a character named Capricorn, though I haven't read it in ages so I may be wrong

Does anyone know any unique topic for an English speech of 1.5 minutes? Ignoring the time limit.

I'm Leo and I'm cold.

Yes, I really am. And no way I'm charming, so either all of that is false, or my birthday is wrong.

I'm Leo and I'm cold."
no you're not
Leos are awesome
we're lions

Let me quickly message H and tell her to not listen to it. She likes Taylor, so here comes the Music War 1!

You're right about that part, but I suppose it provides an outlet for all her frustrations. While I don't love the way she writes songs about her ex-boyfriends, she did have other nasty things to deal with.

Rough Draft
This is a song I'm writing, and yep, I know it's terrible and way, way worse than Taylor Swift's, but don't you worry, I'm never going to get a chance to sing even the first word.
What if my flaws all fade away overnight?
I'd be someone new, someone I never knew.
What if I turned into the perfect girl you want?
I'd never make a mistake, but I won't exist.
'Cause these flaws make me the person I am,
The imperfect person I'm entitled to be.
'Cause these scars prevent me from being,
The perfect person I don't wanna be.
So go ahead, condemn me, patronise and break my heart,
Make me cry for my wrongs, beat me up for my flaws,
Just remember, you're the same if you're human,
'Cause we're all meant be perfectly imperfect.
What if I stopped tripping over my feet?
I'd never be able to stand up back again.
What if I started being immaculate?
I'd never be able to improve again.
So here are your options:
Accept me for who I am, or stigmatize me for the same,
But neither I nor you can be impeccable,

I wonder why that showed up on my suggested reads!

Just sayin, but this is really good. :) I know you don't see it, but we are our worst critic, sooo.... yeah. Excellent job, gorgeous

Yeah, it also seems to be the reason she gets so much flack. The way I see it, we all require emotions to write things and so I don't understand why she gets more hate than other artists. But I'm also very, very biased XD

This song is great Hallie! :) Also Hallie if that book is triggering, I highly recommend putting it away and distracting yourself with a movie, activities, anything to make your thoughts dim. The out of sight out of mind logic has sometimes helped me and you know we're here for you.

True. I dislike her because her music really isn't my cup of tea, but the rest of what she faces, I respect how she puts up a fight. Hehe you could say that same for me as well xD

Aw thanks! (Still think it's silly) :) I was watching House before, but I watched so much that my ears hurt now. I'm just trying to distract myself by reading roleplays.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold up there. Songs do not need to be perfect. Have you heard 99% of what plays on the radio? And that's after edit after edit after edit. Songs are not supposed to be perfect. Art isn't supposed to be perfect. I believe beauty lies in spontaneity and imperfections. Would you really want to listen so a song which is 100% perfect more than once or twice? If we did, we would have stopped creating music ages ago. Humans aren't perfect and neither should anything we make be perfect. It's more beautiful that way. Emotion can be let loose and that is what creates truly powerful music and lyrics.
Besides. Beauty and "perfection" are subject to the viewer. Chin up. :) The wonderful thing about art is that what one person views as bleh is viewed by another as a brilliant masterpiece. One of the art exhibits I have had work in featured a piece from a classmate of mine. He has very, very little skill and struggled the entire time in class. He created a piece in our figure drawing class which honestly looked like really intense, dark, and dramatic child doodle. It was a fusion of unskilled talent and amazing emotion. It was in no way a piece most people would look at and find worth anything. However, he got it featured in a juried art show. Juried. The person who judged the work found his piece to be amazing because of the sheer emotion it portrayed. It was actually really neat and made my mind do a complete 180 to look at the work again and notice the unique and amazing aspects to it.
Point is it's all perspective and art and music should not be perfect. It would really kind of suck if it was.

They need to be, at least for me, or rather, at least what I write. My definition of perfect in such situations isn't extremely high, but those songs that I regard as perfect, yes, I do listen to them over and over again because in my opinion, they are perfect. The artists combined the right tune with the right lyrics it whatever. By perfect, I mean more from my side. I once wrote a song that probably isn't that good, but it felt right in my head (and in my friend's ears surprisingly), so I'm not hesitant to say that I wrote that one. However, this one doesn't give out the same emotion.
Alright, I didn't really prove anything with this futile arguement, did I?

And ironically, my friend just compared me to her. "The bitterness in her song reminds her of the presence of bitterness is someone else."

I used to like Skillet. Got bored. Lol. I can suggest some other bands to check out, if you'd like. :)
