It's for the month of December Owl. Just read through post #1 and you'll get idea. It's only just started. Have fun picking your books :)
Ok. I'm going to do the easy 3-4 songs. Song 1: Silent Night
Silent Night by Mary Higgins ClarkBoth titled Silent Night
Song 2: Little Drummer Boy
Seven Little Australians by Ethel TurnerBoth have "little" in the title.
Song 3. 12 (Twelve) Days Of Christmas
Twelve Drummers Drumming byC.C. BenisonBoth have the words "twelve drummers drumming"
Ok, so it's not all that creative, but it's a start! LOL Does it work?
Finished my 3rd - song - "White Christmas" - A Ghost for Christmas by J.D. Winters 4★s

Great! Now I better stop chatting and get to reading!! I'll send in my pages I've read so far for, the other challenge, in the morning. It's only 9 pm here, but I'm beat! I never said I was a night owl, after all! Good night, friends =o)
Will go for easy. Haven't picked all my songs and books yet (trying to make them fit my currently on loan books)Hark the Herald Angels Sing - The Wine of Angels Angels in the title or I might go with a twist on the lyrics and go with The Nonborn King
I saw three ships come sailing in - The Boat - Australian book - ships and boats.
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! - The Wolf Wilder has snow on the cover
Finished
White Walls by H.M.C. for my song "White Christmas" . First time Australian author for me, and excellent book 4 ★
Just finished my first book for this challenge Skipping Christmas
Gave it 5 stars, click on link to see review
I'm going for easy.1. As with gladness men of old: A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman (the book is about an old man)
2. Silent night:
3. I saw three ships come sailing in: The Bunting Quest by Steven Marcuson (the cover has a ship on it)
Steven Marcuson was born in Glasgow, but he now lives in Australia. Does this count as an Aussie author, or do I need to find another book?

Thanks again goes to the read-a-thon, and the fabulous excuse to avoid cleaning :) ... as I've finished:The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon. Rated: 5 stars!!!
and Last Kiss Goodnight by Gena Showalter. Rated: 4 stars
Next up is: Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah
Times up for me! (Sunday, Dec. 4 @ 6 am)
Finished
plus I read the sneak peek of Mary Higgins Clark next book
My Gal Sunday for 74 more pages. Review to follow. Also started audio book (hope these count)
The Killer Next Door by Alex Marwood for 28 pages. I calculated the pages by looking at how many pages the paperback book has (paperback has 387 pages), then divided that by the number of chapters in the audio book (54). So, 387÷54= 7.16 (7) pages per chapter?? I got to chapter 4, so 28 pages. =o) I'm sure everyone can do this math for audio books, but I thought I would share it in case it might save anyone else from burning precious brain cells. Owls have feathers for brains, so I didn't lose much! =o) Again, I'm not sure if audio books are cheating for this challenge or not.
That brings my total to 329.
I, too, had a bit more of a busy 3 days than is usual for me. But, a
not too shabby total, nevertheless. =o)
Hi Owl, congrats and also I think this post is meant to be in the Read-a-thin page, and not the December month challenge :)

Started
Seven Little Australians by Ethel TurnerCan someone tell me how you cross out finished book, please?
Brenda, I really have to say this again....this group is amazing, not to mention so friendly and sooo much information for us ... It took me a while to learn the ropes in joining reading groups....just a matter of learning to navigate around...but having said that..all of you go out of your way to make things easier for us, and helpful too... !!!! In another group, one time I had answered a question for one of the group members, and one of the "mods" got angry at me...I mean I gave the correct info , but still.... Sheesh! Anyway...nice job to all the folks in "Oz"
Thanks Maureen :) We try to keep our members happy and provide all (or as much) information as we can. I know I remember what it was like to be new and not be able to work things out without asking :)

I've had to ask quite a few questions so I can do all the cool stuff, and, so I'm doing stuff right. Except for this morning! Shouldn't post before coffee! Thanks again for your help!
No problems at all Owl, it takes a while to wrap your head around the challenges/ rules... I know it took me a while lol
