Well I saw in an interview Sarah said that it's not the end of the tog world so fingers crossed

I mean if Fleetfoot survives that means there's a happy ending.
OMG Guys what if the entire tog series is all a figment of Celaena's imagination?!?!? Remember when Dorian and Chaol tested Celaena to see if she was still sane well what if she ismnt and created this entire reality in her mind?!?!?

I sometimes question whether a book's story will just end up being all part of a character's imagination
Chaol needs to come back with Nesryn, or whatever her name is. And he has to be healed.And Nehima has to come back as a spirit/ghost thingy.
Who else is feeling like a TOG and ACOTAR cross over is needed?
Uh yeah! Totally in fact I'm writing a crossover between the series right now.

I don't know man. I was kind of psyched to get both series to end in 2017, but now I have to wait more than a year for the conclusion to Throne of Glass and who knows how many re-reads will have to hold me up to the point where I know mostly every line from all 6 books we have right now and then the 7th when Chaol's NOVEL comes out in September, which was when ToG#6 was expected to release. By the way, what do you think his book cover will look like? Will it be him instead of Aelin on the front? Where am I even going with this post? I'm on the brink of insanity people.
What???? I thought waiting until September was long but 2018??? I don't like rereading books and this series is so long to reread and I still have a ton of books I want to read. What am I going to do for the next year?Also, any suggestions for books to read after? Everything I read now is boring because I have Aelin and Rowan and Lysandra and everybody else stuck in my head and I find it difficult to jump into a new world.
The Defiance series by C.J Redwine.
I've already read the Lunar Chronices and TMI (they were soo good). Maybe I'll try The Defiance series though. It sounds interesting.Thanks so much!

What am I going to ..."I've just read The Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard and thought that it was really good! It didn't last me too long to finish so now I am currently waiting for the next book but great read all the same. I also started reading The Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder which has been good so far, but a little slow at the start. I think it has promise hopefully keep me entertained for awhile since there are quite a few other books to this series.
Poison study is amazing as are all the books in the series and spin offs!
So TOG 6 is actually Chaol's story now. I'm actually looking forward to this. Especially knowing that it connects and plays a major part in the final TOG novel. We'll get to explore the southern continent which is exciting! And new and OLD characters will play a part. Sounds great!!

YES! Elide and Lorcan! I really, really hope that SJM patches things up between them in the last book, because that romance was just too sweet to stop.
Is no one going to talk about the fact that in Empire of Storms, Manon just blatantly pointed out that Rowan was Aelin's mate? Like SJM just stuck it in there and I don't know if anyone's noticed: "The queen was mostly quiet from where she walked at the head of their company, her mate scouting overhead....". It was in the stone marshes. Like OMG?? This was before the we found out for sure they were mates!!!! Sorry a bit of topic but I was rereading and had to point hat out
I know this is awful to think but... AELIN will die, Rowan will save Teressan than die, everyone is going to DIE! What is the sad thing about these books is the fact that if the reader got paid for every death, gasp, tear, internal/external scream we would be beyond rich.So what I unrealistically hope for-you can always hope, what is life without hope?-that Aelin will overcome every single obstacle thrown at her, and live happily ever after with Rowan, living a PEACEFUL life! But alas that is too much to hope for so I just hope TOG 6 will be as good as the others, make me cry, become a emotional wreck and momentarily hate or love our amazing author even more.
I really hope she doesn't kill of Aelin I mean she can't can she we would all be broken hearted.
I had a thought what if when Aelin settles her animal form is a dragon?????? She has fire, she has the arrogance to be a dragon and she loves beautiful things
I think her animal form is human and that's why she could stay hidden for so long..
This particular thing had been bothering my mind like crazy. it's a selfish wish. a fool's hope, but it may come true. and now i'm sounding like Rowan.Do you guys remember what exactly Deanna said when she possessed Aelin's body back in Skulls Bay? Here it is:
"Every key has a lock. Tell the queen who was promised to retrieve it soon, for all the allies in the world shall make no difference if he does not wield the lock, if she does not put those keys back with it. Tell her FLAME and IRON, TOGETHER BOUND, MERGE into silver to learn what must be found. A mere step is all it shall take."
in all the havoc she appeared and nearly killed everyone, we didn't read into depth her speech. the only thing Maas talk about over and over in the book; in Aelin's mind, is about the lock. she should find it. wield it. put every ounce of her power into it, and die. However, the last sentence didn't seem so interesting, does it? the sentence was too complicated and we are tired enough of what was happening in the book.
but we learned, from the 4 previous books, from acotar, that Maas never write anything that has no particular importance in them. and that particular sentence was spoken by Deanna, a goddess, and to complex to decipher so we tend to forget it. (Oh well, I did, but maybe some of you guys didn't)
at the end of EoS, Aelin was locked inside an iron coffin, thanks to Queen Maeve The Almighty (note the sarcasm). BUT BUT BUT, its IRON!
Aelin is Fire. She is Flame, even if her power was fully extinguished.
and the coffin is Iron.
And Deanna said something very weird about Flame, and Iron, and Silver.
Maybe this is not even a foreshadowing from S J Maas and I'm dumb for even thinking like this. But, what if its true, that Aelin could find answers within her coffin, that could safe them all?
Nox owens, the thief from Perranth will obviously come back. Sarah said as much. Chaol and Nesryn will also be back from the Southern continent, where they could gather much information, although I doubt the southern continents would play a very important role... but Chaol even got his own book! That's hope for us. that means his adventures with Nesryn connects with the main plot.
and last but not least. Dorian got goosebumps himself when he realizes his companions are all guided by different god/goddess. they are not who they are for nothing. They are All part of the unfinished game. my theory (in my desperate state of despair) is, in Gavin and Elena's era, they are alone. its only the two of them. but this time, its a whole bunch of warriors; aelin, dorian, rowan, lorcan, gavriel, manon, aedion, even elide... its not only aelin that will forge that new lock. they will. together. without dying.

Okay, I see what you're saying (and it is really interesting), but I thought this prophecy already happened when Aelin (as fire) and Manon (as an IRONteeth) held hands and stepped inside the mirror thing (was it silver?). Therefore, the step they take is simply stepping into the mirror and knowing the truth about the past.
I would love to see a scene between Hollin and Evangeline. Like what if they somehow met and he made some comment to upset her (probably about her scars) and she slapped him before telling him what an awful person he is. She would be the person to literally smack some sense into him! And since nobody's ever dared treat him like that, he'd be too stunned to yell back and would see the sad truth in what she said. Then he'd try to redeem himself by apologizing to literally everyone. And in the process, he'd develop a crush on her. We could have a new cute little pre-teen couple to ship!

Just saying. Plus, the very thought of Evangeline and Hollin makes me shiver

Obviously the witches are going to win some kind of war with Rowan and King Darien by his side! Chaol has to get better! (If you don't know what I'm talking about you shouldn't have joined this fan club!) Aelin must live Maas would not break our hearts by killing her, plus she still has a country to rule.-Clare😘
I definitely think Aelin is going to die and become divine, like the sun god. It kills me, but it seems very likely.
I think Manon will have a huge role to play in the next book, why else would the whole flame and IRON thing be mentioned? when they were in the mirror, all memories had almost nothing to do with her and yet they both had to touch it to enter - to be that says unfinished business. Dorian is supposed to be more powerful than Aelin bcz his magic is raw and can/should be able to do whatever the hell he wants (don't know why weve only seen ice and magic hands?)
I think Dorian with the help of Manon will be do something BIG.
He can wield the keys as much as Aelin can as they are from the same bloodline and its now on him to do so anyway.
If Aelin is saved which I think she will be (cz come on) someone else will have to die. Not for the sake of the prophecy but bcz they don't right books with total happy endings anymore.

Yeah but killing Dorians brother who has had nothing to do with the story this whole time would be a cheap and easy way out - too painless. It would have been better if his brother had been more involved in the past books and we saw if he has magic too - maybe he could be evil and join erawan or something - I agree hes been unused so far.
I have a strange feeling that Manon will die which is sad cause I really like her more than all other girls at this point
I feel like Aelin could pull an Aslan and willingly sacrifice herself and then be brought back because of it.
