Um its not a prequel its the story BEFORE throne of glass the first one

Well since it's not absolutely necessary to read it to understand things, I'd say it's a prequel. I mean, Thronw of Glass came out before The Assassin's Blade.
I know about those, but what about this chaol thing everyone's talking about?? and queen of glass?? what's that?
The Chaol thing is a novella to be released on June 27, 2017. It's about the events that happened with him and Nesryn during EoS. Queen of Glass is the original version or "draft" of Throne of Glass.
The Chaol Westfall novella is coming out at the end of June

Well there's The World of Throne of Glass which hasn't come out yet. And there's a novella called The Assassin and the Princess which wasn't officially released, but you can find it online.

I'm gonna hold off reading the bonus content with Chaol until the novella comes out because . . . actually I really don't know
I'm pretty sure Aelin made Rowan chocolate cake in empire of storms not in the bonus content cause I've read both of the Aelin one's and none of them have Aelin making a cake cause it happens in EOS
So, I'm pretty sure Gavriel will die protecting Aedion. I think, even though I don't want it, that Aelin will die, that she will not try to fight Maeve once she is with her in Doranelle , or wherever, and that she won't fight back. Because she knows she won't make it, and that there's nothing she can do to help.
I think Aedion will eventually forgive Lyssandra.
I think Manon will fight against her grandmother, but it won't be Manon that kills her grandmother but Asterin. And Asterin will die afterwards.
I think Elide will obviously go full witch-mode and help in the battle and will replace Asterin in The 13.
Chaol will obviously come back in his full glory and be very mad and disappointed with himself because he was not there with Aelin. So Dorian will go talk to him and they will have a cute BROTP moment.
I think that Nox, (remember him from book 1?), will come back and will help them fight against Maeve. You know, because Aelin saved him
Rowan will probably go kill Maeve all angry because she killed Aelin, and will know that he won't make it, but he will still go and fight. So Rowan dies to, and is reunited with Aelin
And Aedion and Lysandra will rule Terrasen.
Oh! And Aelin's friends from the kitchen in Wendlyn will convince all the others to rebel against Maeve and they will ally with Terrasen.
And Dorian will end up ruling Adarlan of course.
Oh, and Dorian will keep Fleetfoot.
I dont think any of this will happen, because it is all very cray, but all we know for sure we should be ready for suffering.
I am already beginning to mentally prepare myself for this final book.
My predictions (all are subject to change):Aelin will live, and get a happy ending with Rowan in some way shape or form. After all Aelin has gone through, I don't believe Sarah would just kill her. Aelin's story will not be a story of darkness.
However, Aelin will have to sacrifice something, most likely her magic. But Rowan will still call her fireheart because duh. Maybe she loses her fire magic, but the small amount of water magic from her mother's side saves her.
I agree that Gavriel will die protecting Aedion, and knowing Sarah, it will be right after they develop a close relationship.
I don't have the most developed opinion on Dorian yet, but I think it's likely that he will be the one to sacrifice himself. Hollin will likely come into play, since Sarah never creates minor characters for nothing. If Dorian dies, than Hollin will get the chance to redeem himself and he will become king. Although I like the idea, I don't think Hollin will be sacrificed because he is a child, and Dorian wouldn't allow that.
As for Dorian and Manon, I don't think they will be a couple since they have two different kingdoms to run, but they will be really good friends.
As a few others have said, Manon will eventually fight her grandmother, but she will give Asterin the killing blow.
I don't think she'll die, but Asterin is the only witch who has a chance of death. I am so certain that Asterin's daughter is still alive, and if Asterin dies, her daughter will become Manon's second.
I also think that Elide and Lorcan are mates and will end up together because they are both guided by the certain gods ( forgot their names).
If Aedion survives, Lysaedion will happen and they will forgive each other. I ship them soooo hard. Aedion my smol son better not die.
If Dorian dies, Chaol will be heartbroken (poor baby) but he will eventually come to terms with Dorian's decision and respect it. He and Nesryn will both survive, and rely on each other. Also, I'm expecting Chaol to save the day with troops from the southern continent, and he and Aelin to be really good friends.
On a side note, I want Rowan to save Aelin rather than Aelin saving herself. She needs to realize that people love her enough to get her back from Maeve, and she has saved herself enough already.
I'm pretty sure Ansel and Manon will be friends and be badass together, while ruling neighboring kingdoms.
I think Nox, Emrys, and Luca will come back, and the last two will help free Aelin.
All in all, i hope most characters get a happy ending, especially Rowan and Aelin.
Chloe, it doesn't happen in EOS.. its in the exclusive content of heir of fire, there's a link a little ways down.
Elena said that for the time she gave aelin that the gods are going to banish her to darkness and nothingness where she won't get to see her friends and family in the afterworld ever again... which means the afterworld is like a second life where you can still interact.. I'm pretty sure Aelin will somehow survive, but if she doesn't, I think Rowan will follow her to the afterworld to be with her forever. (I mean, I would!) and aedion can be king. and lysandra queen.. ooooo ;)

Oh okay @Gillian I was like really certain it was in it sorry ❤️as for what price Aelin will have to make I saw a post on Instagram and it said "nameless is my price" the nameless king of adarlan died at the end of QOS what if he's the nameless price that had to pay?

The thing is, SJMaas has never completed a series before, so we don't know if she's going to pull a huge character death. All i know is that if Aelin dies, i will riot
You know how Sarah said she gets her foreshadowing skills from JK Rowling? You know how 17 characters died in The Deathly Hallows? You know how The Deathly Hallows was the last book? O_O I'm so scared...
Also, since Sarah has never completed a series before, do you think she's the type of author who would include an epilogue?
I don't think she will for ACOWAR because she plans to write more books expanding the series, but I agree that she will for ToG

I think she would do an epilogue for ACOWAR because the next books afterwards aren't going to center on Feyre and Rhysand like they did. I honestly think they're going to center on Miryam and Drakon

In an interview with (I think it was) Jessethereader she said it might feature some of the characters that survive acowar
