Peridot found the commons and looked around idly.

Lime flew to the common room and turned back into her human form, looking around for something to eat while keeping to the shadows so the sunlight wouldn't hurt her.

Chastity had followed silently and was watching Lime quietly from a hidden place. She wanted to make sure that Lime wouldn't kill anyone, because she didn't yet trust the girl.

Lime looked around some more, unable to find anybody to drink from, but she did see a mouse scurrying around, looking for its hole. Without hesitating, Lime pounced on it and grabbed it, then bit its neck and started to drink heavily from it, her eyes glowing.

Chastity frowned, still watching. It wasn't really harmful, since it was just a mouse. But it was pretty gross because Chass couldn't bear the thought of drinking from an animal.

She then ate the mouse and sighed slightly when she was done, then licked the blood off her fingers and fell to the ground, passed out. Her eyes returned to normal.

Chastity sighed when Lime passed out. She held her sword in one hand and went over. She was going to have to drag Lime back apparently.

Tiffany walked around the common room and finally sat down on a couch, feeling worn-out. She felt extreme amounts of power flowing from the dorms here, and she couldn't wait to steal it all. It'd be easy, seeing how easy it was for her to get inside the school. She just hid all her wires except for one around her neck, and put on a small sundress with polka-dots. It was almost criminal how easy it was to get in. "But why isn't anyone in here?" She wondered out loud to herself, looking around.

"It depends on your definition of 'anyone'," Aiden said. He'd been doing his rounds through the dormitory to make sure everything was in order when he'd seen her. Since he had heard that some of the students under his care had been causing trouble, he felt the need to check up on them now and then now. But this new and somewhat suspicious person he hadn't been aware was coming seemed like a big thing amiss.

Tiffany jumped when she heard his voice and quickly sat up. "What are you?" She instantly asked, feeling even more overwhelmed by all the power she sensed coming from him. She'd scan him, but wanted to play up the angle of a normal human. "Or maybe I should ask, who are you? I'm new here, as you know," She said in a sweet voice, playing with one of her pigtails.

Aiden crossed his arms as he examined her. "I'm the caretaker of this dorm house, my name is Aiden Brenton. I know you're new, but I wasn't aware of new students," he said. "What's your name?" Maybe he'd been away from his office too long or something, but he really hadn't been informed. Was it possible that administration knew nothing of her arrival?

"Tiffany," She said in her sweet voice, lying on the couch and playing with her pigtail slightly. "I honestly have no idea why I got a House like this. I think I'm an awfully sweet kind of gal, but I got put in with all the evil-doers!"

"Probably because of your powers," he said. Of course he was wary of her still because he knew nothing of her, and as he'd learned in his past lives, caution was key. "It's about personality traits, and Kyuusho house isn't only filled with villains. It's about cunning."

"Oh! Well I'm not a very cunning person at all," She giggled happily. "But you never answered my question about what you are. I've grown up sheltered and barely have any powers of my own, and to come to a school like this with so many fantasy creatures...it's so overwhelming!"

Sly and cunning, Aiden thought as he watched her. She just seemed a bit too innocent, but he was supposed to be taking care of her as one of his charges. "I'm sure it's quite the adjustment for you, but you were put in this house for a reason. And so if you need any held adjusting, you can come to me."

"Well I suppose I am having a bit of trouble adjusting," She stood up and adjusted her skirt, huffing slightly in annoyance. This guy wasn't going to make it easy on her, was he? "What types of creatures are usually admitted in this house? I want to know what to expect....and if they'll eat me in my sleep,"

"I can assure you that there won't be any students who will eat you. Kyuusho House is filled with a variety of students that possess the same qualities as you keep denying. While we're mostly filled with vampires and demons, there are others. Like I am a phoenix," he explained, expecting it to make sense to her.

"A phoenix?" Tiffany asked in a curious tone, sitting up. "I've actually never heard of those before on my world. Enlighten me....what is your species like?" She hid a wire behind her back.

"Most phoenix are very regal and proper, respectable creatures that people admire since they are a representation of life. So their rules and expectations for conduct are strict to say the least," Aiden began explaining. "Also called 'firebirds', phoenix like me shift from a human into a bird made entirely of fire. But it's not always destructive fire, as it can have healing properties as well."

Aiden felt a large shock and stiffened up, but instinctively reached his hand up to where he'd felt it come from. He felt so weak, but he yanked the wire out of his neck, subsequently giving it another tug in hopes that it would injure her. While he knew he wasn't to harm any of his charges, this was a different matter.

"Eeek!" Tiffany shrieked in surprise when he tugged on her wire, falling over. "What'd you do that for?! That's fragile! You could've hurt me!" She held her wire protectively close to her body, which was still sparking with a few flames shooting out now.

"And you-" Aiden took a deep breath. He still felt rather weak from the instant drain she put on him. "You will be answering to the headmistress the next time you try doing that to someone. There are rules around here, girl."

"Hmph," She put the wire back into her body and felt an instant recharge, grinning. "Hey, you're pretty powerful! I wonder if I have regenerative powers now?"

"I don't know what House she is! She's a weakling, so she probably wouldn't be in this place anyway." She tried to stifle her giggles when she saw how weak he was. "If you're feeling tired, why don't you lay down? Or at least sit down?" She moved to the edge of the couch to make more room for him.
