After a brief visit to the hospital wing, Chastity and Caleb walked back to their common room with her arm all wrapped up tightly so it would heal on it's own. She didn't speak to him, but she knew she needed to thank him for helping.

Caleb was carrying her things as well as his, fearing the cut would just get bigger with any little effort

"Um...." Chass started and then cleared her throat. "Thanks...for the help..." she said, not looking at him.

She shut her mouth instantly and went to sit on the couch. She didn't want to answer, but already knew he would press it.

"Chass?" He asked lightly, sitting down next to her.

She winced at the nickname. "My....friend," she said very quietly. "He....looked a lot like you."

"He did?" He asked. The thought that maybe her 'Friend' was someone who had died somewhere around 300 years before.

She nodded slowly. "Yes. He was the only person who...accepted me as a person although I was a vampire..."

"You look....so much like him..." she whispered, pulling her arms closer to herself. This boy looked like him, talked like him....if she didn't know better, she would think it was him.

Caleb bit his bottom lip before reaching out to take her hand. "I'm sorry he's not...here."
