I feel like I said sometime long ago that I was working on phasing out the hat in favor of an electronic program. I got quite bored of sorting people and it got rather annoying when not everyone went or when I had to sort my own.

See, now you can sort them as people make them , they draw they're house and boom done. No assistance needed.

Personally I think the bowl system is too simplistic. I sort them whether or not they go to the office, so I don't see why we can't RP an actual act of getting it done when they DO come in for that.

I understand what you're saying, that I wouldn't need to be around for it if we just use a bowl, but it's just so basic of an idea that why would anyone even bother to go in for just that?

No, you still sort them. You just don't need to be a hat or anything.

And students still need to register. They aren't just automatically in.

Everyone is still technically registering and getting sorted, it's just not ALWAYS RPed. Which is why I don't think the system needs to change so much.

I just think that it doesn't make sense for certain characters to have been at the school for awhile (long enough for a battle) and not know where the office is, especially if they've already been sorted.

Well that doesn't make sense, but that's something you can tell a person directly. I don't think we need to change how we operate just because someone made a mistake.

Yes, I haven't gone to college yet and I'm a wreck from it. I don't have a job either. I can't even recognize myself from how I was this time last year-all intelligent and happy and optimistic and always outside and helping people. Now I'm the complete opposite.

Aww man. Yeah I understand. I was that way at some point. I actually decided to go on a road trip. I met Cynonic (cynthia) and Sera. It was really good for me and opened up my eyes to what things I wanted and didn't want in my life. Plus, you mature a lot when you're on your own.

Before that, I was a real mess (and a little bit after. Depression is a B****). I didn't sleep at night, I didn't eat. I spent the majority of my days in the shower or I went running at 2am and came home at 6am. It was not fun. I woke up one morning and decided I 'd go to my grandparents and look for places by them. That day I put down the down payment and I was actually happy!
It took an adult decision to really get me back on my feet. I recommend everyone roadtrip at least once in their life.
