i think we could do something similar to what we have at the moment. make a new folder for the new zones and perhaps close off the old folders in order to restructure and create new threads for what we already have?

well we have individual folders for the town and for the school and separate ones for the houses/ dorms etc. Do the same thing for the new areas and we can update the old ones, fix what needs fixed, and remove what we feel isn't necessary

i think that those are pretty simple ways to revamp. we dont have to recreate everything but we can work to reorganize and maybe make everything look themed/ put together for the section it is in?
i agree that we should make a template to work with the other characters/ parts of the world you wish to add.

Hmm you're right, it would be simple that way. How are you imagining the theming/putting together?

Yeah so I guess we should consider that aspect when making the zones- what parts might be important to them, but also what isn't important. Kinda considering housing location depending on how we do the character structuring.

Also think we should establish how long it takes to get from one place to another, just for our benefit, you know? But that can come later.

Maybe some nice formatting and similar layout for description etc.

I think the one thing that keeps coming to mind is dorm rooms and roommates. Unfortunately, most of our characters have not actually visited or interacted with their roommates. So maybe make it so that everyone can interact in the common room but the player can choose to ask for a room for the character if they need it for a specific role play or intend to use it for the character more than once.

Also, I like the idea of the classes kind of running in the background and if we wanted to do an actual event for a class for multiple people to participate in a "lesson". Just because it has been so difficult for us to actually get a chance to run a class and get participation without it lasting real life months?

Just some thoughts, not sure if it was anything you were thinking of.

That's what I kinda shifted to, about the dorms, after I got sick of making dorms for people who left or weren't used haha So you think to smush them into one folder or keep separate like before?

Honestly I've been thinking more of how to fix the history which has been looming over me for literal years now. And just how to add new stuff. Or rather, what to add and the structure of those things.

I think we add the common rooms to the school itself and we could make a folder for dorms, sort of like the character convo thread. Where it has all the information but the folder is just for dorms but all of them? if that makes sense lol.

Oh, alright. Well, we could compile what we already know about the world, what we'd like to change, and then we can add things with your explanation of the world picking up different bits.

Yes? I know that you have gone through and done quite a bit as far as formatting goes in general. Perhaps just amsimilar format that the theme just changes for. So gold for the school threads, blue for over the ocean, silver for the moutqins, etc. Something like that.

Would you like to keep the classroom threads open for random student or teacher use? Like a location you could go to? Or set it up as more of another need base thread?
Maybe keep the highly frequented areas and consider putting the others aside or closing them?
Maybe over the holiday break (determined by your schedule) we can set aside time to let everyone know that the group is going under revampification lol and that we will have the main parts open after the first few days and then the others at a later date?
Perhaps we should do a discord call when everyone is free and take notes/ share ideas?

I think classrooms as locations since it gives a diverse base, but things like the cooking classroom are more likely to be used than the animal science one. That being said, it served Evelin and I a good purpose recently. I think they'd be used in the same capacity as like, stores?

Are you suggesting that we delete under used threads (like the hallway under the school) or just move them?

I'm on break now until Jan 9 so any time is fine. But if we're doing a call, it'd have to be in the late evening. Like 11:30 EST, when everyone is in bed

I think for the school, we should lock the secret hallway (totally unused), Weapons Room and Lockup/Quarantine (since they're similar in function to other rooms) for definite.

The entrance and sports track are low use threads too, but they have functions outside of other norms so they have an argument for staying.

Also thinking maybe the Forest of Peace should be combine with the Care of Magical Creatures (Is that what it's called?) classroom since the classroom is probably in the forest somewhere
