Finished my first read last night! Something Sweet was not what I expected at all! I wish the blurb had been much clearer about what happened in the book, but with the plot as short as it was, I'm not entirely sure they could have told us more about it without ruining the book. I rated it 3 stars, simply because what little of the story was there was well written and I wanted to see what happened next.

Finished Web of Death this morning. Was a very short story that showcased some of the changes that the events of Spider's Bite forced on Gin. She also seemed harder in this book, less forgiving. Will be interesting to see how this carries out in later books.

I finished A Week to Be Wicked last night, and I loved it! I knew I formed a connection with these characters when some of the events and reactions in the book made tears come to my eyes! So far, I've really enjoyed the books in this series, so I'm really looking forward to the next book!

ShoSho, I have really loved every book in the series that I've read! Granted, I've only read two full novels and the novella in between, but they've all been excellent and quick reads! I like the fact that they give a slightly historical lesson with each book, perhaps not necessarily entirely accurate, but definitely within a 5 year period of the historical event depicted in the book. It makes for a "Huh! That's really cool!" moment for me!
