Colleen, for you I pick

Your welcome

Colleen's September 2016 Dusty Bookshelf Challenge"
Colleen, for you I pick

thank you, yes Book of Life finishes up the trilogy so that will give me a final push! I've been waiting to read it but haven't found time yet, now I have an excuse!

Oh my God, I definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY pick

I hope you enjoy whichever you pick (or both)!"
I'm going to try to read both! Your enthusiasm is contagious! :)

I wasn't familiar with any of your other picks,..."
Thank you Karen! LOL, I'll do my best to give you vicarious enjoyment :)

Good choices, Jenn. I'll probably start with If the Shoe Fits, but I'm hoping to read them both in September, if I can.

Hi Joanne,
I choose for you to read

Happy Reading!

I don't know any of the books you posted but I hope you'll enjoy them! Happy reading!"
Thanks, Nina!

Caitlin, I pick for you [book:21st Century Dead|13167096] and Coldheart Canyon. Hope you enjoy them :)

Thank you very much! Amazing picks :)

My second pick is definitely cover based, I confess, and it's

Have fun with one or both of these in September! Happy readings!

I'll pick

Thanks for the picks. I've been meaning to read Year of Wonders for so long now I'll start with that one and I will see if I can slip in The Devil in the White City somewhere in my growing September TBR pile.

Thinks for the picks, can't wait to read either one or both of them.

I pick for you

Enjoy!"
Thanks Jayme, I've earmarked the first for a team challenge so that should motivate me to actually get it read. Hopefully I'll finally manage to get the 2nd in too.

No word, Kay, and I'm sorry. I have been obsessively checking to see if I missed their posts. Technically, they have until 9:30 am EST tomorrow to come in and pick for their partners, before I put them on the no show list and assign re-picks. Hopefully, the missing folks will see this and do picks.

No word, Kay, and I'm sorry. I have been ..."
I'll help with choosing if some people don't do it.

Thanks, Colleen!

Thank you for the offer! Since we have 3 volunteers already, I may not use you, since you're one of the folks without picks. I've PM'd everyone that is late, so they know that there are consequences for not showing up like this.

Will do!

I'm picking

Hi Jo...I do not know any of your authors or books so....
I picked

and I picked [bookcover:Love, Lie..."
Thanks! I'm excited to get started! I'll let you know what I thought when I'm finished.

I'm picking

Thank you! I sort of accidentally read the foreword to one of those last night and fell into the first chapter, so that's excellent. :3

Thanks, Nina, but I think we're good. One person has responded and left picks for their partner, so that leaves only 3 folks without picks. I'll be posting re-picks in a couple of hours, just to allow the missing participants a fair shot at avoiding the Naughty No-Show List.

You're welcome, Kay! I would like to apologize to each of you for your partners not picking for you...I know you each have been patiently waiting for picks and I thank you for that patience!

I pick for you

I selected Courage Has No Color: The True Story of the Triple Nickles, America's First Black Paratroopers because my favorite type of reads are non-fiction history and I tend to gravitate to WWII books.
Based off your other options you seem to like dystopian type reads, so I selected one in the event you were feeling the non-fiction book.

Karen
I pick [book:The Progeny|27221614]- because it's on my tbr and Odd Hours- because I love the Odd Thomas series!

Thank you Colleen! I love that series too, I'm hoping it stays strong as it goes along!

it does I am sad it ended

I pick for you

Thanks! I read a little bit of everything, so it's nice to have two such completely different picks!

No stress here - just read what you want, and if you don't finish there's always next month! I chose two for you that I think will be cozy or at least easy reads."
Woohoo! Finally the kick in the pants I need to finish Ragnarok (I started it back when it came out over a year ago, but only got about 20% in because 500+ page books are my attention span's mortal enemy). Isn't Amy's grandma so great? And that romance novel will hopefully be a quick and easy read. ^_^ Thanks for the picks.
