August 2016 Challenge - Name That Elvis Tune

Elvis Week is August 10-16 in Graceland which marks the anniversary of his death, August 16, 1977 at the age of 42 years. I thought we could also commemorate his remarkable talent and impact on the music industry.

Pick three of your favourite Elvis Presley songs from the list above. If your favourite is not on that list, you may need to offer me a bribe, along with begging and pleading.

When you have picked your favourite Elvis songs, post your titles in the comments below. Then, you may read the spoiler.

Example - Heartbreak Hotel is your favourite Elvis song. You could read:

The Hotel New Hampshire

Words may be plural or possessive (hotel's). They may not be a derivative of another word - Heartbreak, not Heartbreaker.

Words such as "the", "and", etc may not be used. If you choose "It's Now or Never", only "now" and "never" would be acceptable. If you feel an insignificant word should be used, ask for a ruling.

6. The book must be 175 pages or more determined by the issue you read. If reading eBook or audiobook page numbers will be determined by the issue that comes up first on a Goodreads search.

I'm not much of a fan either but i was subjected to a A LOT of bad nights out at the pub as a kid whilst on holiday with my parents where there was always an Elvis impersonator so i got to know more than i ever would have otherwise.

Depending on how much begging, pleading and bribing would be involved, my actual three favorite songs would include Tomorrow is a Long Time, written by Bob Dylan but covered by Elvis as album filler on one of his albums, I forget which. When Bob Dylan was asked how he felt about other artists' covers of his songs, he mentioned this one as one of his favorites. If permissible, I would use Tomorrow Is a Long Time instead of Love Me Tender. So tell me, Janice, what would it cost me?
