I think I mentioned it way back at the very beginning. :)
eta: from message 1 "Pick three of your favourite Elvis Presley songs from the list above. If your favourite is not on that list, you may need to offer me a bribe, along with begging and pleading."
Janice wrote: "I figured that while not everyone was a fan of Elvis, everyone knew who he was and are aware of his songs. So use the titles you are most aware of and call them your favourites."Oh I know, I wasn't saying I couldn't pick titles ..... just that it was an easy pick and I need to get around to doing it, that's all :)

Hmmm, I'm gonna give this a shot. Haven't read the spoiler yet! My favorite Elvis songs from that list are:Jailhouse Rock
Don't Be Cruel
Return to Sender
Oh man...I would pick the 3 Elvis songs that don't match up to a single thing on my TBR! Should have said Blue Suede Shoes lol. I'm gonna have to do some research!
I hope you find something suitable, Valerie. I thought having people select three song titles would give them enough words to find something.
I was thinking if i had selected jailhouse rock i could have read Rock Redemption by Nalini Singh.which i am rereading anyways.though i dont know the song.and if i will like it. :)
Okay, I think I may have found something- I added this book to my TBR on Goodreads a while ago cause I'm a linguistics nerd- would it count? It has rock in the title and it's 352 pages. And it looks like my local library has a copy. :)In the Land of Invented Languages: Esperanto Rock Stars, Klingon Poets, Loglan Lovers, and the Mad Dreamers Who Tried to Build a Perfect Language
Ok, so I've finally picked my three songs: Devil in Disguise
(the one Elvis song that I do love)
Can't Help Falling in Love
(Mainly because I adore Lick The Tins cover version of it from the soundtrack Some Kind of Wonderful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-__O...)
Return to Sender
Now to find a book .....

Oh. I recon you should not have any problem finding something with this exact title
My songs are "Love Me Tender," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and "The Wonder of You."I selected "Love Me Tender."
My book is Tender is the Night.

The One & Only
Spinster: Making a Life of One's Own
One Fat Summer
The Precious One
Me Talk Pretty One Day
Say You're One of Them
King Creole
A Hologram for the King
The Girl Who Saved the King of Sweden
Stuck On You

Thanks for the reminder, Janice!
I am not at all an Elvis fan but can name these as my favourites:Heartbreak Hotel
Jailhouse Rock
Blue Suede Shoes.
Um. That would seem to be the full extent of Elvis tracks that I like. I was pushing myself to find 3......
Books, therefore:
Does anybody else remember singing "Poison Ivy League" at summer camp..."they give me an itch those sons of the rich, dah dah dah"
Joan wrote: "Does anybody else remember singing "Poison Ivy League" at summer camp..."they give me an itch those sons of the rich, dah dah dah""I've never heard that one before. It sounds funny.

I'm not endorsing it as one of his best but it is funny:
youtube Elvis sings Poison Ivy League
Thanks Joan! That was cute. It's definitely one of those filler songs used in musicals, but it's still funny.
Alrighty, I picked Love Me Tender, Heartbreak Hotel, and Viva Las Vegas as my three top three Elvis songs. And since I'm back on a serial killing rampage I've picked Private Vegas to go along with Viva Las Vegas.
