"I know I just...I don't know." She shrugged.
He quietly nodded and took her hand in his.
She squeezed his hand and looked out the window.
"Do you want to go to your apartment?" He asked.
"Or mine," he offered, getting slightly annoyed with the noise from his truck.
He shrugged and started driving to hers because it was closest.
She dug around for her keys in her purse.
He drove quietly and then parked in front of her apartment complex.
She unbuckled and shouldered her bag.
"I can take your bag," he offered as he got out and went to help her.
"Thank you." She gave it to him while grimacing.
She stepped out with a heavy sigh and held onto his arm.
He lead her up to her apartment through the elevator. He kissed her head.
She leaned into him and kissed under his chin.
He smiled at her as they reached her door.
She took her keys out and unlocked her door.
He opened it and then lead her inside, helping her onto the couch.
She sat down heavily, making sure her back wasn't pressing up against the couch.
He nodded and smiled before he sat next to her.
She moved closer to him so she could rest her head on his shoulder.
"You can go see Amelia if you'd like." She said.
"No, it's okay," he said. "I'll go with you when you can."
"It's really okay." She said. "I was just going to take a nap."
"I know you want to see her". He touched his cheek.
He nodded and kissed her lips gently, "call if you need anything. I'll be back in an hour or so but I'll bring dinner." He said.
She kisses him back and nodded. "I will. Tell her I say hi and give her a kiss for me; oh! And tell her that I'm no longer...no longer a monster."
He nodded and kissed her head softly. "I will, I promise," he said, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Do you want me to help you to bed or anything before I leave?"
She nodded. "Yes please." She got ready to stand up.
He stood and carefully put his hands around her. He helped her to her room and laid her down. He kissed her cheek.
She laid down on her stomach because of her back. She hugged her pillow and smiled when he kissed her heel. "I love you. Have fun,"
"Thanks," he said softly, kissing her head again. "I love you. You don't need anything else, do you?"
She shook her head. "No I don't think so. Wait; can you take my pants off?" She smiled.
He nodded and helped her out of her trousers. "Anything else?" He asked.
She slid her bars legs under the covers and shook her head. "That's all; thank you babe."
He nodded and kissed her head one last time before leaving. He lingered at the door to make sure she was okay.
She smiled and shifted a little to get more comfortable, then passed out within minutes.
He brought her phone over to her incase she needed to call and then left.
