Reese looked at Phoenix when he whined. "I think he's hungry." She said. "What's his name?" Natalia asked.
Elian looked up when she asked, wanting to know, too.
"Phoenix." She smiled. "Beautiful name." Natalia smiled back.
Elian nodded in agreement, "very." He said. "Amelia would love him. She loves babies."
"You both have a child of your own?" Reese asked.Natalia looked at Elian. "Uh, no; She's his daughter."
"My back hurts." Natalia murmured to Elian, hinting that they should probably go now.
"I think we should get home," Elian said and stood up, wrapping an arm around her to help her up.
She stood up with a wince. "I'm sure we'll be seeing you soon?" She looked at Talbott and Reese.
Talbott nodded, "I'll text you, so that you can save my number, just in case you need anything." He said to them.
"Okay. Thank you." She held out her hand to shake his.
Talbott took her hand, "Talbott, by the way," he said, shaking it.
"Natalia." She said. Her accent was always evident when she said her name.
She grinned. "родился и вырос. ну, вроде." She laughed. born and raised. Well, sort of.
He smiled a little, "we might've crossed paths, at some point." He said.
"What do you mean?" She asked. She didn't know he was an angel.
"I'm older than I look," Talbott smirked a little.
"Well that's not creepy." She joked.
Talbott laughed, "you hold yourself differently. Not like people in these generations do."
She nodded. "That makes sense. I wouldn't say I was brought up proper though." She shrugged.
Talbott nodded, "I wasn't brought up at all. I just came to be."
"I guess that's better than being raised in a happy Russian family only to be disowned by them and then having to make a living in the circus." She said. "Speaking of which." She carefully reached into her bag. "Here's my card. I have a show every other weekend."
Talbott nodded.Elian started to help her out the door. "Goodbye."
"Bye." She said, following him out."Say bye." Reese said to Phoenix. Phoenix waved cutely at them.
Elian looked back at Phoenix one more time before he left, walking with her to his car.
Natalia hobbled close to him, sighing.
"It's a little bit of a walk to the car... can you make it?
She nodded hesitantly. "Wait; I'll just wait for you out front so you can pull up."
Elian nodded and kissed her head. He let her sit down and then walked away. He went to the car and then brought it over.
She waited for him and walked outside when he pulled up.
He got down and helped her into the car.
She got in with a slight groan then a sigh.
He closed the door and then got in behind the wheel.
"I just realized something." She said
"We probably cant have sex for a few days." She sighed
"Because I'm so weak from everything that has happened it's taking a little longer to heal my back." She muttered.
Elian nodded, pressing his lips together carefully.
She looked at him. "Does that upset you?"
Elian shook her head, "no, it's alright."
