He watched her worriedly but then Katy walked in.

"Hey." She plopped her bag down. "Sorry for being late."

"Who's this!?" She exclaimed when she saw Sally.

Elian smiled, "Sally."

"Is she yours?" She asked, bending down to pet her.

"Um, no, Amelia's." He said.

"Oh?" Katy smiled.

"Yeh," he said, unsure if he could tell her what happened though he usually told her anything he could.

"She'll love her." Katy said, "I will to."

Elian smiled, "you wont mind if I steal Amelia away tonight, will you?" He smiled.

"I won't mind." She said. "But do you think you'll be allowed to?"

That made Elian's smile slip. "I don't know."

"Oh." She frowned

"I hope so," he said.

Katy nodded. "I'll vouch for you."

He grinned, "thanks."

"Anytime." She smiled.

"Dinner!" Amelia ran out to them.

Elian smiled at her and then looked at Natalia to make sure she was okay. Then he stood and tugged her up.

Elian nodded and started walking to the dining room.

Natalia found a seat and Katy helped Amelia into her high chair.

Elian sat down in his usual chair.

Natalia took a sip of water.

Elian put food for himself.

Natalia served herself then ate quietly.

After a bit of silence, Elian spoke. "I want to take Amelia home with me, tonight," he said carefully, playing with his food now.

Natalia looked up. "I'll be there, I promise." She assured

Elian watched his aunt for an answer.
Rebecca sighed, "honey, do you even have anywhere to let her sleep?" She asked.

"His bed is finer than anything," Natalia said. "Plus, his couch pulls out into a bed."

Elian had started to say that but nodded in agreement.
Rebecca sighed, it wasn't that she didn't trust him, she was just worried. "And if she has nightmares?" Rebecca asked.

"She sleeps with us." Natalia shrugged.

Rebecca looked at Amelia.

Amelia smiled, chewing on a carrot. "Peese?"

Rebecca sighed, "alright, fine."

Natalia grinned, touching Elian's arm.

Elian couldn't hold back his grin as he looked back at Natalia. He looked at his aunt, "thank you."

"I'll help to pack her bag!" Katy offered.

Rebecca smiled affectionately and nodded.

She smiled and went back to eating.

"I sleep with daddy?" Amelia asked.

Elian grinned at her, "yes, and Natalia."

"Yay!" She clapped her hands.

Elian smiled widely and looked at Natalia.

Natalia smiled and pecked him on the lips quickly.

Elian actually blushed a little.

She giggled at his reaction then went back to eating.

Elian went back to eating happily.

She touched his thigh under the table as they ate.
