Jonetta you are awesome! I'm seriously in awe of how fast you just did that and how many you gave! I've only read #17 and #26 on your list , started #25, #28, and well into the midnight breed series as you know ;) , I'm curious why midnight breed made your list and not dark Hunter? :)

Yay!! Thank you!!! This is already awesome. I am going to be slacking on my list but everyone else's is what I care about anyways, mine is more of a personal challenge to get out there and find all time favs that don't have Nora Roberts under the title. :) Though I might have a few others may not have tried. can't wait to compare some others!

The Downside Ghost series by Stacia Kane is very close 2nd to The In Death series as my favorite, I devoured this series. The main character Chessie got me so upset a few times that I had to put the book down. Love these books.I also loved the Troubleshooter series. Sam and Alyssa had me rooting for them from book 1.
The Blackbirds Sisters by Nancy Martin is also a fav of mine. I won the 1st book in the series that I read from a Goodreads giveaway; and quickly read the rest of the series. I love the covers on these books.
For a totally different change of pace, The Miss Julia series by Ann B Ross, is the funniest series I read. I mean laugh out loud, tears running down my face funny!! If you want to read about a 70 something year old woman and the trouble she manages to get in, this is the series for you.
Harry Potter, need I say more.
The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward. I haven't finished this series yet, but its already a favorite!
The Escape to New Zealand series by Rosalind James. l was nwver interested in Rugby or its players until reading this series.
The Heather Wells series by Meg Cabot is a great mix of mystery,

5. Everything Julie Garwood has ever written. Historical and contemporary.

First and foremost is the entire Harry Potter series though Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone will always hold a special place in my heart. I missed the humor and whimsy that Rowling used in that first book as the series progressed. And besides, while you can re-read a book again, and enjoy it just as much as you did before, you can never feel that feeling that you had the very first time you entered that world. My other all time favorites include:
Gone with the Wind
To Kill a Mockingbird
everything ever written by Beverly Cleary, but particularly the Ramona books (I intend to get a Ramona tattoo one day)
The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, though I also enjoy her other works too
The Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton
The Babysitters Club by Ann M. Martin
I know there are more but I can't think of them right this second. I'm at work and trying to do too many things at one time. lol
Books by Martin and Cleary, as well as books like the Nancy Drew series and Sweet Valley Twins and then Sweet Valley High as I got older, really sucked me in and kept me reading. I loved being able to stay in one world with one group of characters for a period of time. To this day I prefer series books over standalone novels. Or, if I do read standalones, I do the same thing I did as a kid, I always try to pick up the book with the most pages!

I've read all of the Claybornes Brides series by Julie Garwood and loved them!! Maybe I should give more of hers a try :)

I love her stuff. I've read a lot by her but she's definitely another author that I want to go back and read everything I haven't read yet.

I am the exact same way regarding series and stand alones. I much prefer a series or triology of a stand alone just because I can't stand to leave them lol, though I am someone who can and does re read a lot of books! Plus I love the different relationships within the groups of people in the series.

I knew number 3 sounded familiar to me, and I own the first one.:) I got it because it sounded good but I haven't read it. So it's good to know you loved it, it will make me read it now.

I loved all the Sweet Valley series starting with the Sweet Valley Twins series way, way back in the day but I was pretty disappointed with the most recent release.

Obviously we all are here because we love Nora, for me this list could easily be all her books, but as I am looking to branch out of my comfort zone more I want to try to make myself at least a top ten favorites list that isn't Nora, and I would LOVE to see any of yours!
