Finished my Bronze Blade book.Magic Bites works for Heat 2 leg of 4.
Then I can look at supplemental books to add.
If you guys are able to add it to our super special s/s and mark when you have one in progress, the trollers can veer away from those! Hehe- a troller

No problem. These are all books I'm planning on reading anyway for other challenges (except Stone Hard Seals), so any spots that you want to switch, feel free. If someone has a "stone" book, that would be great, since I don't have to read that this month. Just let me know.

Oooh no, absolutely not hehe. I'm on season 9 at the moment. I am enjoying this season more though than the previous one or two.

You guys are rockin! Whoop-whoop! I'm not even half way thru my chariot bling but got to see 3 INTENSE lacrosse games. I think I lost my voice in the last game. We were the scrapper team in our miss-matched shorts & ugly practice jerseys taking on this undefeated team of princesses and their most unsportsmanlike douche bag coaches and won in a nail biting 8-7!!! Totally made my day!!
And now I have a 3 hour block of time to shower & read.. :)

I guess you're all eager to get a few bonus books read, right?
So here's the thing:
The mods gave us a little bonus "challenge" so to speak (next post will give the details) - a little space invasion of the Olympic games happened and to save our books and points, we need to be heroic.
Since we're in the upper points tier, we got only ONE task to fulfil (teams in lower tiers get up to 3 tasks to give them more options and more bonus). The mods spun the wheel for all the teams and
this is our task:
D - Welcome 10 new members to the group
Now, the easiest to do this is probably to go to the Introduce Yourself Thread and welcome a few members.
Important will be links to those welcoming posts as we will need to send proof to the mods that we have fulfilled this task the way it should be done!
So, those of you who are feeling welcoming, head on over to that thread and welcome the crap out of at least 10 people! And then report back here with a link to the post you did. (If you're unsure on how to get the direct link to the post, give me a shout!)
Oh... and I should probably tell you what our reward will be, yes?
Drum roll, please!
Grab One Prize from the Omni-Sack:
- One fight sprint may be done out of order.
- Someone else may read one of the 3 mandatory books for another person.
- 2 books may be moved in the spreadsheet to other spots.
- +50 page range to one page jumping task (so a 101 page book can be used in place of a 151 page book)
- The page numbers of one book may be re-arranged to form a new number (example: 250 pages may turn into 520 pages.)
- An alternate cover may be used for the one book read.
- One bonus round of your choice may be opened up before completing the event. (THIS IS WHAT WE WANT, ISN'T IT??)
- One book from the travel agent Olympics shelf may be used.
- One plural word may be made singular
- One book that does not qualify for Olympics that has been read for wobble may be used
- The, An, or A may be excluded from one title.
- One member may read one back to back relay book.
- One coach may read a sports book instead of a fight book
- One cover color may be 40% instead of 60%

Alarm bells are ringing on Planet Olympus. The evil Queen Vanda has her eye set on WOBBLE.
Vanda's mission is to destroy all sports in the galaxy since fairness disgusts her, so, it would be a matter of time till NBRC became a target. We are known for our awesome team challenges, fair play and team effort.
Following his queen's order, the gnome Sipe is running havoc on WOBBLE grounds, misplacing books, disarranging shelves, scattering pages and worse, setting traps that once activated will release the dreaded reading rut potion, that will make all mood to read crumble and die.
Once more, the faith of Olympics is on the hands of Sport Billy, his sidekicks Lilly and Willy, and his magic size-changing gym bag!
"I want to inject the spirit of the Olympics into all of NBRC to counterattack Silpe's wrong doings. If you can inject spirit in the following way, I will grant you one bonus from my bag."

I am moving on to read Kade's Turn, my spot for Page Jumping, Heat 1, Leg of 8, Book 3. Any other spot is still fair game if someone wants it!

We are HSE/Fishers and recently switched from club to a varsity team. In fact, this upcoming year will be our first year to have separate teams for Fishers HS & HSE HS. It was an awesome end - they won girls state. Next year will be rouuuuuuuughhhhhhh... 9 graduating seniors and then splitting remaining team in half... Gulp.
We played Illinoise Elite... Just to paint the picture - They wore cute blue skirts and tops with white trim.. Neon yellow head bands, white socks and white cleats with matching neon laces.
Our girls had very worn reversible white/red jerseys with whatever shirts you could find... Black...gray...purple...whatever you have. Lol!

Sounds a little familiar. Our Rugby club here in Brownsburg can look a little rough around the edges compared to some of the older (and out of state) teams. We have a lacrosse team too, not sure if there's a girls team though. I think they've only been around a year or two. My son would be interested in lacrosse but it is same time as Rugby and he luuuuurves Rugby. More than football, even. If those two were at same time, he'd pick Rugby for sure.

yeah I am! Although I like it less after season 9. Season 5 is my favorite.

When you look at your post, you have that grey bar over it with the message number, your username and on the right hand side the time stamp. When you do a right click on the time stamp, you'll get a mennu. From that you choose "Copy Link Location" and that will be the direct link to your post.
(I'll go and snag it, no problem - but that way you know how it's done :-))
