Red Pandas
Five am, eep! Let me answer your questions one by one. This is an additional book not used in other events correct?
Nope! You can continue whatever book you're already reading.
Would I have to read it for 1 hour and post the pages?
You can read anywhere from 1 to 6 hours in one hour increments, then post using the form at the end of my post there.
Would it count toward the beverage Water? Or do I drink water while I read?
Drink water while you read to match someone who has water as a beverage :)
Do I have to finish the whole book before I post my sprint?
Nope! Post when your sprint is over.
Do I have to finish the whole book before the 20th or just the sprint?
Just the sprint. We're giving ourselves a couple of days grace so we can concentrate on the Olympics proper as it comes to a close.
The main thing is - this is something we're doing for fun, and maybe to squeeze some more pages in. We do not get direct points for this, so don't change what you're doing too much. ;)
eta: Thanks for your questions - I've updated the rules post to hopefully make things a little clearer. :)

Sweet! Thanks!
I will get to read at longer intervals at the beach, so I will definitely be able to support someone.
So final question. Just post when I start reading my sprint, which book I am reading at the time, and then pages read when I am done correct?
Have a great day! I am off to work, will check in later.
From the rules:● You can tell us when you're starting your sprint (you might get someone else to join you!) but it's not required. When you finish post:
(cover of book/s read)
Length of sprint
Pages read
Sprinter you are supporting
Aspect you are matching
:D
Finished:
Through Your Eyes by Cameron Jace (or Cameron Cage, GR seems confused on this point)
100 pgs
08Jul
For PJ, which rounds off my 3 req'd books. :)
I'm still working on My Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me for an arm in Distance but since that's a paper book, I'm also going to start Doctor Who: The Stone Rose on my iPod. Hoping this can fill a "stone" slot in Distance. Or PJ is fine too.
Finished
The Tournament by Matthew Reilly
320 pages
Read 8/7/16
For Wheel-a-thon as it was started before we finished Heat 1 of Event 1 of Olympics.

It was actually a decent book. I rated it a bit higher because it was well written and I read it straight through. Story not anything special/earth shattering though.
Blacksmith was quite the talented fellow!

has a full arm on the cover...if needed and we get to that challenge I could read it then.
Support Sprint!!Through Your Eyes
2 hours
89 pages
Lory
2 hour sprint + drinking water. It was night-time -- after midnight -- and the book is a YA dystopia. It was a clear night. :D
Finished:
The Stone Rose by Jacqueline Rayner
296 pages
08Jul
For "stone" in Distance, or a spot in PJ. :)
Question: Could a book like Den of Thieves chain to Thieves' World, even though the 2nd one has an apostrophe?
Ray (user2637) wrote: "Finished:

Congrats on getting your required reads done, woo-hoo! The Stone book looks perfect for Distance, too.

Noted and banked. :)

Yeaaaa for our first Support Sprint, woo-hoo! I'll put your pages under Lory's two hours. :D

I sleep and have a quiet morning, you finish two books! Hehehe. Perfect for Stone :)
Kazen wrote: "I sleep and have a quiet morning, you finish two books! Hehehe."To be fair, I mostly failed to sleep so... reading was accomplished. :)
Ray (user2637) wrote: "Question: Could a book like Den of Thieves chain to Thieves' World, even though the 2nd one has an apostrophe?"Hmm. If it were a different word like children the chain would be Den of Children - Children's World, and with the extra s that is not allowed. It's only an accident of grammar that makes the spelling the same so to keep to the spirit of the rule I'm going to have to say no to this one.
Oh, before I forget!Ray - your X-man book was approved as an arm so you're good to go with that if you like. :)
Lory wrote: "Finished the the two hour sprint. I'll send the pages and stuff to the moderators later tonight"Huzzah, great work! Brianna, you're ready to go whenever works for you :)

Woo-hoo and congrats on finishing your three required events, yea!
I also finished readingAttachments
I loved it. Not sure if this fits anywhere, but It has 323 pages.
I also started reading the Time Machine (which has 144pages) as a quick read so I could save Attachments for the plane.
I am going to start on Iron Fey as the "Iron" for book it to the distance. Probably won't get much reading done this weekend, but we'll see...I've become a little addicted :)

I might have to pick up attachments soon. I liked Fan Girl, and I loved Carry On.

Are the Dr. Who books good? I love the show.

Yay! :) ;) I've got a few before it (Novel rpg picks) so I'll hold off on this one for a bit; give the other Red Pandas a chance to find arms... especially since I'm already reading an arm book (My Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me).
Also, can you pencil me in for a PJ 151-200 pg book? I shall happily step aside if someone who doesn't have a PJ book yet needs the spot (though there are a lot of low spots, as you mentioned Kazen). It's Irreligion. Thanks!!! :D

Good news all around, yea! It will fit somewhere - I'm going to be going through the spreadsheet today so I'll see what works.
Time Machine will be perfect for PJ, and having that Iron book would be great, too. Read on - this is the best kind of addiction! ;)
If anyone wants to sign up for coaching, but doesn't have a book, I just read
which features boxing.
Annabeth wrote: "Uh, i'm quitting; i am not getting enough time to read. =.=..."I'm so sorry to hear this Annabeth - we'll miss you! I do realize that this challenge isn't for everyone, though. Enjoy the reading you do get in :)
I started an audiobook so I can "read" while I cook and clean - yea technology! It doesn't fit in the Chariot color task so I'll put it towards PJ.
304 pages (most popular edition)
Pragya, with Annabeth leaving the challenge it leaves her slot on Chariot open... but luckily, you've already ready the same book she pledged! :D Would you be okay with us moving Scorpio Races over to Chariot and putting your current read (P&P, I think) into Page Jumping instead? It doesn't change what you read or anything, but I just wanted to give you a heads up. :)

Page relay?"
Sure! Unless that confection shop breaks out into an MMA brawl, then we can count it towards coaching. ;)
I've messed around with the spreadsheet some - feel free to take a look at the O - Master sheet. Hopefully what you can do next is a little more clear now. :)
Hi Guys,Kazen, Margret, and I are finalizing spots for Event 3-Into the Distance.
You guys have been amazing about mentioning all sorts of arms, but we may have lost track on who wants to read them. If you have a book picked out and want to reserve a spot let us know, ASAP :)
Also, we need LEAD! Any ideas?
AND- For anyone who wants to cheer our fighters, we've added a cheer section to the event planning. You can reserve spots for any book with MMA/Boxing/Martial Arts.
Just to check... Do the coaching spots all need to be done in order to count Fight Club as done? Or just the 6 sprints?

No! Don't worry about it if you aren't going to enjoy it. Cute pandas don't approve of torture.
Kazen wrote: "Pragya, with Annabeth leaving the challenge it leaves her slot on Chariot open... but luckily, you've already ready the same book she pledged! :D Would you be okay with us moving Scorpio Races over..."Sure! Whatever fits wherever is fine! You can move my books around without asking:) As long as they go somewhere, lol.

Carry On was so meta on so many levels I giggled all the way through it. I was just like "how does this exist?!"

Cool idea about the mini event and it could be that I am not awake yet (just got up and its 5AM LOL), but I am a bit confused about how this works.
This is an additional book not used in other events correct?
So here is a hypothetical - If at any point before 7/20 I read
Would I have to read it for 1 hour and post the pages?
Would it count toward the beverage Water? Or do I drink water while I read? which is what I usually do
Do I have to finish the whole book before I post my sprint?
Do I have to finish the whole book before the 20th or just the sprint?
I am just planning in the back of my head again LOL and want to make sure I am correct before I add anything to my mental list.
