You're right. I double checked my maths and if we finish either Heat 3 or 4 for E2 bonus, the points are more per book than E1 bonus. Yay! I can stop banging my head against the chains spreadsheet, haha.

Super excited that Chariot decor isn't a bonus round. Those net the most points and will likely be open before the bonus rounds. Woo-hoo!

Unpacking is nearly as awful as packing - I bet you're happy to have that (hopefully) over!

I slotted you in for PJ eta: Doh, this was your Chariot book! I need to have more tea. :P

Have a look at the spreadsheet (link on the first page of this thread) to see what slots are left. And yup, fighting books are now open for coaching spots in the sprint. Just fighting, though, of the MMA/Martial Arts/Boxing variety. :)

Thanks so much for the heads up! The only book I see you down for is Second Chance Summer for Distance - we'll swap it out if need be but I think you'll be fine. Good luck with all the school stuff!

Thanks for checking in! I put Sentinel in for PJ as I didn't see it slotted for anywhere else - once you finish Golden Son your required books will be finished, yea!

I like how this challenge lets us pick and choose which events we want to concentrate on so we can cater to each of our strengths :)

Not sure about a chariot decoration (is it a globe? a map? ...lunch?) but it should slot into PJ just fine.

The page count thing is weird, considering they're both the kindle edition. Is there a preview of another book at the back, by any chance? Those can be left out of the goodreads page count.

That makes two complete throws for Distance, yea!

I surprise myself sometimes with what I can find in my TBR. I was actually looking for a book to fit the shorter Page Jumping tasks, and thought I would read this one (its 187 pages). When I went to mark it as 'currently reading', I read the synopsis and thought - wow MMA romance - Ok, let's go with that :)

Me too. I have it at three starts now, but I'm thinking of notching it down. It had such a cool premise, but I didn't enjoy reading it, and the characters felt off.

Kazen Rose - that's just how I felt! The idea is great but the characters are enh, the plot is enh, and I didn't feel engaged enough to want to continue. Verdict: enh. ;)

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Pokemon Go, you all are so funny! :) I was a bit too old for Pokemon when it first hit my area, so I never got into it nor am I playing now. But reading the articles about it and seeing pictures online is entertaining. Did you see the one about the guy who caught a Pigeon (?) bird thingy on his wife's hospital bed while waiting for her C-section to start?

Honestly, I probably would have installed it by now if my ipod wasn't too old -- can't upgrade ios to the version needed. Alas.

I heard back from the Mods and was asked via PM which bonus we want. Captains - who will decide? These are the 3 Kazen listed as the most appealing. Let me know what to tell the Mods!

1. Someone else may read one of the 3 mandatory books for another person.
2. One bonus round of your choice may be opened up before completing the event.
3. One coach may read a sports book instead of a fight book.

ETA: There's a Omni-Sack bonus spreadsheet page now too, in the All Teams spreadsheet. Looks like they approved Margaret's submission as well, so we get to pick 2 prizes from the list. :)

Wow - I say that's genius!! There is no limit on how many people you can welcome, so I guess welcoming them in one post works?? Did you want to give it a go Ray?
