25.6 - Jamie NYC's task: The Last Abstract Expressionist
I chose Options 1 and 2.
Option 1: I read Florence Foster Jenkins: The Life of the World's Worst Opera Singer by Darryl W. Bullock. Madame Jenkins was a wealthy socialite who loved music and financed her own concert series (and records) even though it's widely acknowledged she wasn't actually a good singer. (This book will publish in August, I read an advance copy.)
Option 2: I read The Bollywood Bride by Sonali Dev. The opening chapters take place in Bollywood (Mumbai, India) then the story moves to Chicago then back to Mumbai then ends in the UK.

20.3 Teri FL’s New House
“Option B: Read a book with a cover showing your ideal place to live.”

I read Against the Law by Kat Martin.

In the distance, behind the guy’s wrist, there is an authentic ranch house at the base of a Wyoming mountain:

Against the Law (The Raines of Wind Canyon, #3) by Kat Martin

Even though most of the book takes place in Arizona, the “base” for the Raines family of this series is a Wyoming ranch, and I am assuming that is what is pictured here. It looks very comfortable.
