Karen M | 1436 comments I'm reading an ARC of
The Electric Hotel which is about the beginnings of the silent films which were filmed in NJ before there was a Hollywood. There were studios on the Hudson River north of Palisades Amusement Park because tbey could take advantage of the local area for outdoor shoots including the palisades/cliffs which is where the term cliffhanger came from. Loving this book.

Started Vintage by local author Susan Gloss this evening. It’s one I’ve been wanting to read for a couple years now.

I will have to look into that. Thank you! I had no idea there was a sequel.

Karen M | 1436 comments I need something lighter to read than the book I just finished, Woman with a Secret so I am reading The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry.

Finished reading a slightly older romance, Addicted to Nick by Bronwyn Jameson. Still reading North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell.

Karen M | 1436 comments Romance is in the air, well at least in my Kindle anyway. After finishing The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry I was feeling a bit sad so it was time for something different. Finding Our Forever by Brenda Novak

Finally finished North and South by Faskell last night. Glad I persevered to the end, even if it was a rather emotional read at times.

Karen M | 1436 comments The less said about the last book I read the better. Now I am reading Grave Peril. I love this series and Harry Dresden is a character I really like. I saw the limited TV series so I can't help but picture the actor who played him as I'm reading the book. In this case it's okay.

I followed this series faithfully when I was still reading only print books (several years ago) so am happy to finally get back to it [on the Kindle].

Next will read The Rosie Project (Don Tillman, #1) by Graeme Simsion The Rosie Project for a challenge.
