Please edit or correct or delete this quote. (part 5)

I attempted to remove a quote I made from one of my books, only it still shows up on my profile. Could someone please remove it for me?
Here's the quote:
“That night, when Ollie was about to go to sleep, he. . . accidently overheard one possum say to another,
“You see that ‘possum up there in that tree? His name is Ollie! Let me tell you what he did today. . .”
At that, Ollie stopped listening. He already knew the story.
Instead, Ollie curled up on his branch, nice and cozy, closed his eyes, and went to sleep, happy and glad to be unique.”
Thank you.
Lauren :)

According to Huffington Post (11/26/2016), there’s no proof she ever said it.
Thanks for your kind attention.

It is a Quote Of The Day so cannot be edited. The likely source of the quote is a poem by Adelaide Anne Procter (about two thirds of the way down).

Edit: Thank you!

(Note, however, that it was necessary to place the closing single quote before the period in order to work around the quote system’s auto-removal of trailing quotes. Although not ideal, I believe this is still better than having no closing single quote at all.)

Please separate the word paradoxes from wrapped!

I added this quote from the King James Bible, and wanted to tag it with "bible" and "hate" (the quote plainly mentions hate), but I forgot a comma, and now the tag reads "bible-hate", can you please fix this?

I've removed the three quotes that you added that had no likes. The fourth has a like (for over two years) so we don't remove it.

Please change "days checked out" to "days checked off." Additionally, "three men and an unflooded" should be "three men in an unflooded." Sorry about that! Thanks in advance.

Hi. A quote has been added for the above book (I'm the author) that I'd like removed, as the book has since been edited and the quoted passage is no longer in the book. The quote I'd like removed begins 'The shadow man sat on the wall...'
Thank you for your help.
Mark.

can you take the extra comma out of this quote:
“I have always been suspicious of the phrase, the glow of pregnancy,, and my suspicions were only confirmed by Lillian's appearance. Instead of a glow, her whole body seemed to become more and more dull, sallow and sickly sweet and vague, like a candle burning out or a line of smudged writing.”
and can you correct "pf" to "of" in this quote:
“It's laughable, looking back, to see the processes I went through, pretending to make a reasoned decision. No choice is ever made on the basis of logic; the logic is fabricated around the impulse, the initial desire which is innate and incontrovertible. All the time, I knew where I was going, the elements pf my fulfillment or ruin were always present..." etc
