sorry to be a nuisance. i tried relaying this information thru another "help" channel, but the problem remains un-corrected. there are now three quotations, under the heading: Finnegans Wake Quotes that don't belong there: they are not attributable to James Joyce.the quotes in question are:

"This machine kills fascists."
"I mark the long winters and the isolation."

185-188 In this case we can't combine the quotes, because she is so popular, the number of quotes is higher than the system for combing quotes can handle.
#186 is a Quote of the Day so the 'other' version is where we merge the duplicates until (or if) staff ever get around to doing merges into the QotD.#187 is a paraphrase of a much older series of quotations

I thought moving them to another profile (there are some Dumbledore profiles for example) and combining them there could be an workaround (I've done so for the less-liked ones in this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... ), but ok, let's leave it like that if issues may arise.

It might take a while for the change to be reflected in the quotes but if there is a long delay we can change the individual entries.
