I just added it, but when I'm copy the name of the author, I wasn't saw and I add also the book name, so the quote link didn't work appropriately now. So sorry!

Can someone please fix the above quote? It's not "believed", but "believing". Thanks.

Thank you, very much! And my apologies, again!

I thought I had selected the book but I guess not, as it only attributes it to the author. The quote is from "Living with a Wild God". Could a Librarian correct that for me?
Thanks!

It should read “Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold . . .”
I know it's not much of a difference, but I was hoping someone could fix it. Sorry for the inconvenience!

It appears to be a Quote of the Day and is therefore untouchable. Unlike the other twelve versions on this page:

Hey,
I am referring to this quote: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/2118...
Someone tagged it with "anticapitalism" which is completely off.
Adam smith is actually considered to be the first theorist of capitalism as we know it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History...).
Some people might interpret having ethics as anticapitalistic I guess :-)
It's quite misleading though, so could we remove the tag?
Kind Regards,
Luca

Removed 'coz there were zero likes.
Anyone can add a quote on Goodreads, not just an author. These three were added by the same person and judging by the disjointed appearance I would guess that they were added via a Kindle.
If any more turn up we can remove them for you provided there are no 'likes'.

Thank you!
Marianne

The quote should read: "The earth has its music for those who will listen" (no period)
And the attribution should be corrected to: Reginald Vincent Holmes in the publication Fireside Fancies

Done. And author/book added to Goodreads.

As far as I can find out, Solon wrote it, not Franklin. The quote is quite obviously not in Franklin's style which is why I was researching a meme on it.
Detailed research on the quote (not done by myself, why reinvent the wheel) can be found at
https://gist.github.com/jbtule/67ad2f...

The word 'heart' is missing the T. It should say 'heart' not 'hear'.

#89 - Deleted them.

Many thanks, Steve

There have been few errors in this quote(above link), I posted today. Please replace it with this corrected one-
"...when Clive stood from the piano and shuffled to the doorway to turn out the studio lights, and looked back at the rich, the beautiful chaos that surrounded his toils, and had once more a passing thought, the minuscule fragment of a suspicion that he would not have shared with a single person in the world, would not even have committed to his journal and whose key word he shaped in his mind only with reluctance ; the thought was, quite simply, that it might not be going too far to say that he was... a genius. A genius. Though he sounded it guiltily on his inner ear, he would not let the word reach his lips.”
Thank you in advance!

Many thanks, Steve"
Next time, please add a link to the quotes, and a link to the correct author profile.
I could find three quotes on your profile. Moved them to this author: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

This is the link:

Also I want to ask if possible one day to have these permissions to edit or delete, be part of your group?

To become a librarian (with the ability to help out with public content on GR) you need at least 50 books on your profile. Once you reach that, you can apply to become a library here: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/6...
Good luck! (I'll leave the editing of the quotes to someone that knows Russian :) )

Thank you Adam!
Regarding the tags I added to the quotes (the problem is with them, the tag should be "minny" instead of "minnie") - they are in English but OK.

#95, 97 - edited. Darn, that's embarrassing. I misread your original request, my apologies! I fixed all the tags.
